Partly because of all the advertising I decided to get breakfast from my local Einstein Bagel Store (Sawmill Rd, Columbus, OH). I ordered a poppy seed bagel with one egg. To my surprise, the price was the same as I ordered it with bacon and cheddar. So since a bagel is $1.69 that means I PAID $3.60 FOR ONE SCRAMBLED EGG!!! No more Einstein's for me!
They could actually sell me bagels. I called at 2:25PM and was told that they didn't have 2 dozen plain bagels and wouldn't make any more today. Great business model. This is a frequently re-occurring issue at this store (Sawmill, Columbus, OH).
