Hoof Hearted Brewing 5th Ave is a gem of a brewery. This location fits the vibe of the brewery well as a standalone little garage of a building. It is bright and casual, with a great 80s vibe. Garage doors open to a small patio, with tables and chairs inside. The atmosphere and music take guests back to the 80s. The beer selection is usually diverse and delicious, with tasty beer and amazing drinks. They offer a cooler full of 4 packs to go, merch, and cool swag. There is also a running club with drink specials. They do not have a kitchen, but the Middle West is next door and made them a bar bites menu. Service has always been friendly, attentive, and personable. Johnny is the best employee there and an awesome bartender. He shared stories about Columbus and made guests feel like regulars. Coal is also a great employee there. He may be a dog and slobber a bit, but he knows his beer. A couple minor annoyances concern the flow of the place, as the draft list is on a TV above the bar and people tend to create a traffic jam.
