The Local Bar is so much fun and provides a great retro atmosphere. Stumbled upon this small hidden gem on an evening walk and found my new favorite local hotspot.

The Local Bar Short North is a small and affordable place that offers a diverse crowd and midweek karaoke. It has a fun retro atmosphere and is considered a hidden gem off the main street, providing a quieter environment with reasonably priced drinks. The parking lot may look a little strange with broken glass scattered around and a full-sized dumpster in front, but this adds to its dive bar vibe. The bar has separate areas with plenty of activities, including TouchTunes, darts, and pool, making it a great spot to relax and recharge. The ceiling is decorated with beer taps mounted on it, adding to the unique decor. The bartender, Taylor, is known for friendly service and has created a special drink. Overall, it is a fun place to hang out and meet new people.
