The food is delicious and the customer service is probably one of the best I’ve experienced.
Very good food at a reasonable price. 1st time, but we WILL be back.
My husband and I stopped in on our way through Columbus Ohio, and we were thoroughly impressed with our meals! The food was delicious!! They had an atmosphere much like Condado tacos, but the bar was set much higher with Local Cantina- when comparing the two, the tacos were so much more unique and definitely more flavorful, the dips blew competitors out of the water, and the atmosphere was so much more authentic and unique! The bar area, decorated with copper, provides a welcoming space where customers often sit and relax, often receiving attentive service from staff. While service can sometimes be slow during busy times, the overall experience is positive, and the staff is always pleasant. Parking may be a bit challenging, but the restaurant's atmosphere, good food, and kind staff make it a great place to grab a bite, catch a game, or enjoy a night out.
The queso is a must-try, as many have mentioned, and the chips are possibly the best around. The carnitas taco with pineapple slaw/salsa is a good choice, while the barbacoa taco with the elote topping is also worth considering. The General Tso's cauliflower taco is a favorite, and the Nashville hot chicken taco, though not as spicy as expected, is still a tasty option. The Ron Burgundy quesadilla and the mac and cheese (shells with queso) are also noteworthy menu items. Customers can enjoy a refreshing blood orange margarita as well.
