“I am so impressed with Rodos off Dublin Granville road. Tonight we went for the Monday Deal which is 10$ Gyro night. Our server, Demetri, was outstanding. Quick to come help us and extremely personable. Portions are large and prices are very reasonable. We look forward to going when we can sit on their patio. “After seeing pictures of their fully loaded pastry cases, I made plans to go right away. Crème de La Crème has a very European feel, from the efficient but not saccharine women at the counter, to the light classical music playing, to the warm, seemingly sparkling tea room-esqe interior. It was very pleasant and beautiful inside. I had a cappuccino (very good), avocado toast, which felt a little small but plated nicely and good, and 2 items from the case. Though I feel a bit of guilt saying it, for narrative integrity I will disclose that the pastries were not very good. The eclair had a white chocolate robing, which was waxy and flavorless, much like the filling. The fresh strawberry cake was not very light, and while soaked nicely in a syrup, also did not have much fresh cream lightness, or many strawberries to cut through the mouth-coating fat content of the whipped cream and custard. I'm sure they were made that day (right?) but had in my heart I sensed they had languished in the case too long somehow. All and all, I would absolutely go back! This would be a very cute experience to bring a friend to catch up, order too many beautiful treats, and have an overall elevated cafe experience. No hipsters in sight, A+“

“Beautiful location, sunsets are the best time to go. Bartenders are super knowledgeable and attentive. It's not a stuck up or stuffy restaurant either. I would say modern, elegant, & clean. Staff is always kind and genuine. 16 yrs in restaurants/ bars/management and this is one of my top 10 local places. To my son for the first time. He loved it too.“
