“My only concern was when we finally made it to the restaurant the hostess promptly said we only had 1 minute left before they cancelled my reservation. This was 12/13 when the huge storm hit! I let them know we may be late due to the roads - just thought that was tacky... Moving on....Remy was EVERYTHING! We would love to have his service every time! We will be back!“

“I ordered a 16 oz aged ribeye medium well with parmesean mashed potatoes and everything was cooked perfectly and I might add that the mashed potatoes tasted amazing and the ribeye was juicy and flavorful. “I’ve been going to THE TOP for many years, so I have seen many changes. We went there last night to celebrate another one of my Birthdays. It was as perfect as perfect could be. We had a 7:00 reservation, and were promptly taken to our table. Our server, David, was AMAZING !! He knows his stuff. Very attentive without being obsequious. Our food was DELICIOUS !!! French Onion Soup(an old time favorite), Blackened Scallops over Risotto,NY Strip,Loaded Baked Potato, Broccoli and CRÈME Brûlée for dessert. Wonderful wine and drink selection, too !! I forgot to mention the bread service !! Quite tasty, too!! We chose to sit on the patio and it was awesome. A great Birthday celebration and being at THE TOP was like celebrating with an old friend, again !!“

“Our waiter made this service 5 stars easily, young man long hair and a beard and I think glasses. He was extremely polite and determined to make sure everything was perfect even waited for us to cut our steaks to make sure they were perfect. Food was already great. Never had that from a waiter, he made sure we had boxes as our food was coming out as needed, appetizer salad side and main because our table was small. To top it off when he brought us the check he also brought us to go cups filled. Completely unheard of. I tipped him well and thought about it and waited again before I left to give him another tip.“

“First time to this location. Restaurant was clean. Service was great. Server was Melby. He was attentive. Never asked for anything because it was always there. The workers functioned as a team. They were supportive of each other which is needed to keep a restaurant flow going. Are food was tasty but on the salty side. Will go back.“

“Went here for Thanksgiving but ended up ordering off the regular menu because the Thanksgiving meal was so comprehensive I didn't think I'd come close to finishing it. It was a very good deal. The service was first rate and the salmon was perfect and delicious, as good as a steak. Nice quiet atmosphere. First class restaurant. Private rooms available. Reservations recommended.“

The service and food were excellent, just a block away from the hotel I was staying at prices are a bit high but the service and quality was worth it. If prices weren’t a bit high probably would have done in every day of my stay. But for a night out definitely recommend“

“This place has finally got back to its pre-COVID glory. The food, service, and atmosphere have always been exceptional. I'm speaking more about the return of the dry-aged beef to the menu. It was worth the price and cooked beautifully. There are two things I would like to also see return - bordelaise sauce and the raw oysters.“

“There were a couple of errors in the orders received, but nothing egregious, and all errors were corrected. The biggest problem was the amount of time it took to receive our food. Granted, we were a large party, however, the restaurant was well aware of our reservation, and it was confirmed previous times before our arrival. Open table states that reservations are for two hours. It was 90 minutes before half of our party received their entrees, so we were fortunate that the restaurant did not try to enforce that limitation. Lastly, one steak which had not been prepared as ordered, wasn't brought back to the table until we were receiving our checks. The restaurant was not overly crowded the night we were there, there were open tables around us the entire time we were there, and, with full view of the front door, there was never a waiting line for guest to be seated. Had that been the case, the less than stellar service would be understood.“
