Emma and Ella were my servers tonight and I had my best Swenson’s experience to date! These lovely ladies were so friendly, upbeat, and attentive; and offered some great suggestions! Ella recommended the potato teezers and emma suggested a peanut butter and grape milkshake (tasted like a peanut butter and jelly) and I was beyond pleased with both! I will be back and hope to see Ella and Emma here again soon!

As soon as I actually get ketchup in the bag after I request ketchup for my order, I will change my review to 5 stars.
Every time we come here the food is delicious but they refuse to give us ketchup. Then we wait for 10 minutes until someone comes out to ask them for ketchup. We also always tip. All we want is for the ketchup to be in the bag.

Emma was the best server I’ve EVER had. I am from Akron and I brought my friends who have never been to my hometown claim to fame— Swensons, in the flesh. Emma made us feel at home, starting with answering the famous question, “what flavor milkshakes do you have?” and doing so flawlessly. She did not miss a BEAT! Thank you Emma!

Typically we have an outstanding experience here, so I decided to bring my family. Today, my patty melt came out with no patty. I sent it back and my family FINISHED their entire meal before mine came out. The time on the receipt of our food (when everyone else got theirs) was 7:08 and I finally received my food at 7:38. It was wrong! I literally ordered a grilled cheese with a patty and then received a grilled cheese with 2 patties and bbq sauce. Like how hard is it to listen to directions.
Tonight’s wait was very long initially, and our food still came out incorrectly? The response from the team from all working this evening has been lackluster and 0 sense of urgency. We are here almost weekly and this is the WORST service I have ever had. Friday 10/18/2024. Absolutely disappointing. I sat here and wrote this entire review while waiting for my food. It’s now 7:36. Outrageous. We ended up not paying for our meal for our horrible experience. I’m just shocked honestly. This is such an abnormal experience. Please fix the kitchen - we were told that was part of the issue!

It's basically a drive-in. That come to your car for the order and to deliver the food. The employees were knowledgeable about the menu and fast on their feet. They really hustle from car to car and get the food out. My food was good and I suggest the zucchini fries with ranch.
Vegetarian options: They offer a plant-based burger with all the toppings. Also zucchini fries with your choice of dipping sauce.
