We went to see Saturday's Children and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was great the music was hopping.
Great burgers!
Stopped in after volleyball at Backyard. I asked if I could get the Reds game on one of the TVs and the bartender, Colton said yes. Some regulars were watching the soccer matches but we found a tv that worked for everyone. I noticed the $4 draft Monday special and asked Colton who confirmed that included Bodhi. Woodlands Tavern is a casual restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere. Customers order food at the bar, and it is brought to their table. The service is quick and attentive, and the food, including a great burger, and beer selection have been praised. Live bands, like the George Barrie band, perform here, attracting both local and big-name musicians. The outdoor seating adds to the experience, but parking can be challenging, as the parking lot cannot be used before 6:30 PM and street parking is necessary.
The venue is user-friendly for local and national acts, with a front room for warm-up bands and a ticketed show in the back. The menu and drink options are worth checking out, and the patio scene is sweet. The potato wedges are probably the best in town, and the overall experience is great. It's a cool bar with a great music scene, and getting there earlier is probably the best option if you plan to stay a while. The food is delicious, the drink selection is great, and the music is on par.
