“This little restaurant is a hidden gem. I went for lunch with two other adults, and the service was crazy fast, and the food was fantastic. I was picking up the bill and was surprised at how little it was. We (3) all got meals and 1 large beer each, and the bill was around 45 dollars. Not to bad.“

“Real nice old school diner! I went for breakfast and had the Sausage Gravy Benedict... SOOOO GOOD! Our waitress was very kind and courteous. Sorry I didn't get a pic of the meal.The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is you can ONLY pay with CASH here. They do have an ATM but just beware of that beforehand. That seems like an outdated policy for 2024“

“We got the 18" stuffed pizza and boy, was it stuffed! The cheese was the first thing I noticed. How real and fresh it tasted, then the delicious red sauce and all the meet. My boyfriend and I had one piece and it was all we could eat. Great, fresh ingredients, good price, and absolutely filling and delicious.“

“I wouldn't call it authentic Mexican food as it's definitely more Tex-mex but it's Good. I am a little particular about Mexican food after living in Arizona for 20 years. I did not like the Carne asada fries which is one of my go to favorites in the southwest, however the T-bone Texicana is delicious and great rice and beans“

“Back to Ohio after living in Florida for 25 years! The Sunrise is still the same as it was then! It looks the same, the food is still delicious and the servers are amazing! We ordered our old favorite, veal Parmesan, and were assured by April , our server, that it was still the same. She was right!! It’s still delicious and the serving is enough for at least two meals. “Our nonprofit worked with Salvatore's Howland to host a retirement party for our president in their newly renovated banquet hall. It was the perfect size and ambiance for the event. Sal Jr. and the other staff were great to work with from our initial inquiry and meeting to execution of the event and clean up. The food spread was not only delicious but beautifully displayed, and the team went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were met. We received so many compliments on the entire affair and will certainly keep them in mind for future events we might have. Thank you to Salvatore's and all the staff there for your help in making this a special night for our president and organization overall!“

“Our 1st experience and not a bad one. Very clean atmosphere. Excellent service, very good homemade food. I had one of the Thursday specials, " The Ruben Sandwich, Fries and added a house salad, the sandwich was large and filled. The thousand island was on the side. Have i had better, honestly yes, but this Ruben was in the top 5. The lettuce salad arrived in a small plastic dish with 1 cucumber slice a 1 grape tomato, ( which I cut in two ) lol. Price: $3.50, ouch. My wife ordered chopped steak, med well w/ Fries and house salad. It arrived hot and still juicy. She stated: very good.The menu variety is good and reasonable prices, except the gold salad. Wayside offers many daily specials to choose from and a senior and kids menus.I might add, finish your experience with a piece of the chefs homemade cheesecake.I give it a rating of 4. “Very good food. I had the bourbon chicken meal and donuts. The chicken was really good. It could have used a little extra sauce, I like to mix the sauce with my rice. The rice was good. The food portions to price I was very happy with. The donuts were super fresh and delicious. The egg rolls are on the smaller side but still pretty good. The lady who handled my order was very nice. I will definitely be back soon.“

“This place is amazing. It was close to closing time but they stayed open so I could get something to eat and opened up the bar so I could have something to drink and enjoy my food. The staff goes out of the way to make sure you have a great dining experience even though they want to go home but they think of the customers first. “Ordered the original Italian and only got ham and salami on the sandwich. But, that's not the worst part! The guy that owns it thought it was ok to serve me moldy meat! I had to throw the whole thing away! I have pictures too!****Update****I stopped into the store to speak with the owner and he showed me that there was in fact all 3 meats on my sandwich. And he made me a new fresh sandwich and apologized for any inconvenience. I gotta say that a lot of places wouldn't have addressed this as quick as he did. “Good food at a great price. I had a lunch combo for less than $7.00. The Taco and both had the same ground beef filling and it would have been nice of chicken or beans we're a filling choice. Chips and salsa included though. How can you beat that today? I recommend!“
