“This is the meeting place for the Northern Summit Browns Backers during the season. I enjoy the Wings with creamy Cajun. They have a bucket of five domestic brews also. The group is enjoying the discounts as well.

“I have only ordered carry-out from The Ido so far. The food has always been perfect. It's a bit pricey, but still worth it. My steaks have been flawlessly grilled, and are of premium quality. The Lasagna is to die for, and the lobster is not overcooked like most places. I'm ready to bring friends to dine in. Hopefully the poor service reviews are anomalies.“

“We went to this place at 7am on a whim to get steaks and they were awesome! The lady who served us was really sweet, the cook came out with my eggs and she was really sweet too, and the food was great. Definitely will visit again when we need 7am steaks!! Lol“

Yes, there is a bar, but it has a seating area away from the bar if you wish. As a single woman, I feel safe here anytime of the day or night.“

“I have absolute no complaints I went in here with my boyfriend and got birra beef tacos oh my gosh what a way to end a night after work I highly recommend the peach cider boys on draft and also try the bottle pear cider boys in a bottle hands down the best and the bartenders every time I have come in have been so awesome and made sure I was well taken care of

“I didn't get to try the food. But the service was good. It was a pack bar With one bartender and he was on it . They also have a patio. You can take your beer out and go smoke.

Parking: There is parking in the front end of the rear. It was packed when I was there and there was lots of spots left.“

“I never knew how good food tasted until I tried KOB's. From the fpc burger to the pretzel bites. It's nothing I've ever had anywhere else. This place is a hidden gem of Akron for sure. The bartenders are always keeping drinks filled and keeping the vibes positive. Hitting karaoke night is a blast in itself. They have one of the best DJs in the area keeping the night rolling strong! I highly recommend this pub to anyone who wants a great place to go!“

“We came in last Sunday. We had been here a few times and I must say this was one of the best. Our server was very nice and on top of things for us. Lena is think was her name. We could tell they were busy as it seemed there was only 2-3 servers on. Our food was not long on the wait. The manager changed a TV for us so my buddy could watch hockey. We always have had problems with other places never changing TV's for us. He asked us how our day had been and just seemed to really care about us being there. Dan was wonderful and made sure, it seemed that everyone was having a nice time. I will definitely be back soon. Wonderful Irish food.“

An a very well kept pool table. I remember a day when you have to beat your way out of this place. Not anymore. This is a very well run bar. Very clean. I would definitely return. Would not mind making it my hang out spot. But it's on the other side of town. That is the only reason I have not been back yet. Good place to take a date,or just hanging out with the work crew. “On Thursday night there is a trio of fun bartenders , Allie , Micaela, and Monica. Always in a great mood and very attentive to your needs. The food is top notch sports bar type and well prepared. The selections are across the board and have never had a bad meal.“

What it reduces down to is that Nat has never ONCE disappointed with her food. I have been impressed with every single dish I have had. She draws from her experiences growing up watching family cook and it reads in her dishes. Perfect balance, fresh and flavorful ingredients, care and patience all can be read while eating her food. “This bar and grill had decent food for exceptional pricing.Tuesday Tacos are $1, and they are hard or soft and better than Taco Bell. 3 stars, so it is okay, but 5 star price.I also tried the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese side..4.99 stars. It is on a toasted bun with perfect meat placement. Maybe I should give it 5 stars.I am not from the immediate area, but the patrons and staff were friendly the few times I have been here.“

“It's a college bar. Not much more to say about that.Not to bad on weekdays. Its a nice bar to stop and have a drink after work. And maybe shoot gave a pool. Dont try to play pool though on the weekends when the college kids are in. Because they use it as a table to sit on and put drinks on and spill things on and lay down and take a nap on and puke on.“

“I passed this place so many times never giving it a thought my son suggested I come with him try a fish dinner I was shocked great tasting fish dinner from bar, I never seen or heard of such thing, their fish is indeed very good that will make you want more. “Finally made our first trip to Oak and Ember on a Friday evening. We made reservations, so we were promptly seated; oddly, the restaurant was only about half full. We had the burnt ends and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were pretty standard, but the ends were fantastic - some crispy, some a little fatty, all covered in BBQ sauce.

Main courses were brisket and pull pork; again, both cooked perfectly. Prices were a little high, but portions were very large. Drink prices were also on the high side (4 cocktails came to $64). They have a HUGE bourbon list with different flight options if that is your thing. Wait staff was not very attentive, but not rude as some other reviews have stated. Plenty of menu options (looking forward to trying the meatloaf!), so we will be back.“
