We had a fantastic dinner at The Blue Door. I had scallops and my husband had short ribs. It was our first experience at The Blue Door, and now we can’t wait to go back for their amazing brunch menu! I am gluten free and dairy free and they were very accommodating and gave me great suggestions. We had a wonderful experience.
The Blue Door Bakery is an absolute gem and hands down my favorite place to eat! This morning started with Nicolette’s perfectly crafted oat milk latte—smooth, creamy, and just the right balance of espresso. Paired with an almond croissant filled with rich, luscious almond paste, it was already the perfect way to start the day. Based on the reviews, The Blue Door Café is a fantastic local place with a cozy modern cafe feel. The food presentation is very delightful and the taste of the food is also. The bread and butter board was generous and a fun experience to share. Specific meals mentioned include the mushroom pasta, fish and chips, cassoulet, morel mushroom omelet, avocado toast and eggs, strawberry blintzes, trout, and brie. All were spectacular and delicious. The service was great, with a friendly hostess and very nice and helpful staff. The owner works hard to keep things moving. There is indoor and outdoor seating, including a covered patio by a heater. The parking lot is full and parking is limited, but there is overflow hospital parking. The wait time can be very long on a weekend, so it is best to plan and get on the waitlist using their website ahead of time. The Blue Door Café has a classic menu and a seasonal menu, plus a bakery and delicious coffee drinks. It is a definite must for brunch and now dinner as well. Highly recommend!
