It's average. I would have loved to have a free breakfast. Our room had a very musty smell, but it was not present in the hallway. We were in room 406, I had a hoarse voice after 2 days. On the positive side, the bed was comfy as well as the pillows. I'd say the room was clean, other than that musty smell.
Stay away for now. No ice machines, no hot tub, no workout room, no heated pool. We arrived ready to have dinner and drinks but were told their was a class reunion and the restaurant could not prepare food for guests, same at the bar. We stayed in room 523, it was fine except for the mold in the shower. Otherwise typical HGI room. I must say, Melody at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Don't waste time or money here. Community hot tub was drained and closed. The pool was nasty and unkempt. There was missing and buckled tile all around the pool and hot tub area. No ice machines working. You have to pay for everything, no continental breakfast, snacks, or coffee. Holes in towels they looked like rags. Shampoo holder fell off the wall first night.
