“Went in to buy pizza and they took all day getting my order but when they took my order they were nice and pleasant. It was a 30 minute wait but I think it was so long because of the holiday. Food was delicious. Besides the long wait times I had an good experience.“

“Strong's new Newport location has noticeably "upped their game". I've been there the last two Fridays with a group for lunch and EVERYONE agreed that their pizzas were PHENOMENAL. The ingredients and flavor profiles were distinctly fresh and you could tell they aren't aiming to be "just another pizza joint"! 👍“

“I stopped in for a late lunch after a recommendation from a coworker, expecting nothing more than a decent slice of pizza. What I experienced, however, was something truly exceptional.

From the moment I walked in, Jeff, the owner, made me feel welcome. He greeted customers by name, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a gathering of friends than a restaurant. He immediately recognized that I was new, took the time to offer recommendations, and even invited one of his regular customers to share their favorite menu items.

The food was outstanding, but what impressed me most was the warmth and authenticity of the experience. It’s rare to find a place where the owner is so genuinely invested in every customer’s visit. I left full, happy, and genuinely impressed by the inviting, home-like atmosphere.

Jeff and his team have earned a customer for life. I can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better hospitality.“

“Have dined at Fessler’s for a few years now despite living across the river. Always friendly faces to take our orders. I am gluten free and was delighted to find out they have amazing gluten free hoagies. Delicious pizza, crinkle cut fries, and Coke products. What more could we ask for? Nothing. “I have been meaning to stop by since they opened, finally had a chance tonight. Casual atmosphere of a neighborhood place. Warm greeting upon arrival. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. I had garlic knots and a small pizza and both were delicious. The pizza was a 10” pie the size of a paper plate. The toppings were fresh and evenly spread over the pie which was perfectly cooked. The crust was the perfect consistency. The pizza really did taste like a traditional pizza I use to have when I was young and we lived next door to a family from Italy. It’s a can’t miss experience, and I will definitely dine here again.“

“My husband and I stopped in today for lunch after seeing it recommended on Google. The fresh focaccia with olive oil and balsamic were hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his wedge salad and we split a highly delicious pepperoni pizza. Mike and Maddie were so welcoming! We even got to enjoy their brand new outdoor umbrellas which gave such a nice touch to their outdoor dining patio. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! 🥰“

“Today, a friend and I came to Dewey’s for lunch. The waiter came by to inform us that an error had been made in our order and that we would be given our meal for free. We had not even been waiting that long, but that level of customer service is VERY hard to find. Kudos to Dewey’s. We will be back many times!“

“We drive from Lexington, Ky every few months just to eat at Newport Pizza Company. Everything is made fresh. Meatballs are great and the hoagies are delicious. Also their Cincinatus pizza puts a whole new spin on my favorite chili. Visit them, you won’t be disappointed.“

“Today’s visit was terrible. Pizza had huge bubbles that were charcoaled and bottom wasn’t baked. Service was not good either. A small place that somehow accommodated a party of 10, 8 of which were loud teens. We were moved to accommodate these guests and they didn’t behave like someone their age should. Ruined a Sunday evening meal.“

“This is a great stop for pizza, some of the best BYO pizzas we’ve had just by the toppings & care by how it was built together! We recommend the Nashville Hot pizza, pickles on the side instead, add sausage, & what ever sauces you prefer on the side. Spicy, sweet, & very filling from the extra protein. We come every few weeks for this & it satisfies all the cravings at once also - provides for a good nap time. 😴 👌“

“The homemade Greek Pizza is phenomenal! And the owner is super sweet; you can tell he really takes pride in his work and this shop. He came to our table multiple times and shared stories, made sure everything was great.

“I had Dewey's before and thought it was alright, so when we moved to the area I thought that we would never go, but this location changed my mind about Deweys! We walk by here almost every day, and the aroma coming from it really tests my discipline. Every time that we go in, the service is great, and every time I order pickup, I never regret it. They have a great selection pizza, with some unique specials, and also great standard pizzas, and I normally do will order just a pepperoni pizza. The price is rather high, but for the size of the pizza I would say it's good value. Overall would recommend this place to any pizza lover.“

“Wonderful place to dine. Excellent subs and pizza. Some of the biggest slices of pizza I have seen and garlic bread as long as your arm. The upstairs bar was wonderful with inside and balcony seating. Bartenders Coe and Cat were very friendly and professional. My favorite drink was the broken hatchet. When they make it in front of you it's quite a show. I will recommend and also revisit again and again.“

“We ate at Caruso’s for the first time July 3, 2024. My wife and I thought our meals were 5 star, delicious! She had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Rigatoni Rustica. Above and beyond, our pizza was delayed a few minutes, which we didn't even notice and the manager( I think) said the crust on 2 slices wasn't to their standard and they made another pizza to go, waived the charge.
