“Best NY style pizza in the area!“

“I eat here occasionally. Service has always been good for me. They have several styles of pizza to choose from including their deep dish or thin or hand tossed round pizzas, NY bold fold or gluten free if you want. My favorite is their Aloha BBQ Chicken, hand tossed round. Yum! They've got nice deals on slices and you can get some sandwiches, too. They have good salads to go along with their pizzas, although I haven't seen too many people getting them.“

“Strong's new Newport location has noticeably "upped their game". I've been there the last two Fridays with a group for lunch and EVERYONE agreed that their pizzas were PHENOMENAL. “Great atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Best time to come is for lunch to get the lunch deal. Fairly priced, around $4-5 for a single slice which seems pricey but they are huge slices. The garlic knots are the best I’ve ever had. Pizza is good, I will definitely come back but wouldn’t go out of my way to come if it weren’t for the garlic knots. Fun place to try!“

“I have been meaning to stop by since they opened, finally had a chance tonight. Casual atmosphere of a neighborhood place. Warm greeting upon arrival. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. I had garlic knots and a small pizza and both were delicious. The pizza was a 10” pie the size of a paper plate. The toppings were fresh and evenly spread over the pie which was perfectly cooked. The crust was the perfect consistency. The pizza really did taste like a traditional pizza I use to have when I was young and we lived next door to a family from Italy. It’s a can’t miss experience, and I will definitely dine here again.“

I am gluten free and was delighted to find out they have amazing gluten free hoagies. Delicious pizza, crinkle cut fries, and Coke products. What more could we ask for? Nothing. “My husband and I stopped in today for lunch after seeing it recommended on Google. The fresh focaccia with olive oil and balsamic were hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed his wedge salad and we split a highly delicious pepperoni pizza. Mike and Maddie were so welcoming! We even got to enjoy their brand new outdoor umbrellas which gave such a nice touch to their outdoor dining patio. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! 🥰“

“We ate at Caruso’s for the first time July 3, 2024. My wife and I thought our meals were 5 star, delicious! She had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Rigatoni Rustica. “Today’s visit was terrible. Pizza had huge bubbles that were charcoaled and bottom wasn’t baked. Service was not good either. A small place that somehow accommodated a party of 10, 8 of which were loud teens. We were moved to accommodate these guests and they didn’t behave like someone their age should. Ruined a Sunday evening meal.“

“We drive from Lexington, Ky every few months just to eat at Newport Pizza Company. Everything is made fresh. Meatballs are great and the hoagies are delicious. Also their Cincinatus pizza puts a whole new spin on my favorite chili. Visit them, you won’t be disappointed.“

“This place is great! We come here often just me and hubby and sometimes with friends. It's close to home but that's not the only reason. They have live music, trivia nights, outside patio and volleyball. The manager is always walking around helping and smiling. Don't know his name but we say hello often. Perhaps he remembers us? The servers are very nice, fast and accommodating. We've gone there for just drinks, or to watch the Bengals games, soccer games Reds games, and they will accomodate if you ask. All in all. I recommend. Very decent food (though I feel they over cook the wings- my friend says they're perfect). You judge.“

“I grew up eating this pizza. The thin crust with the sauce and cheese as the base and the toppings on top is unique and delicious. The pizza is cut into small squares which makes it easier to eat without dropping the toppings. They have been a delicious treat for me for over 50 years.“

The crust is thin, foldable, and has an undercarriage so perfectly crisp it deserves its own fan club. Seriously, this thing could support a small family. It is sturdy, golden, and somehow both crunchy and chewy in that magical way only true pizza wizards can pull off.

The sauce is bright and balanced. The cheese is generous without being chaotic. The whole slice is a beautiful triangle of happiness.

Fratellis does not just serve pizza. They serve moved NY style pizza, as in it clearly packed its bags, relocated, and brought all its best traits with it. And thank goodness, because my taste buds are better for it.
