First time stopping at this tavern. Caught my eye while waiting to pick my grandson up from work. Loved everything about this place, from the barmaid, server at dinner and the owners. Great tunes to listen to and plenty of train traffic for train watchers. I highly recommend givig them a try... Jim, the guy from Brunswick, Oh....
I’ve been a somewhat regular carry-out customer here for a while. On good days, they are outstanding. But on my most recent visit, the onion rings and potato skins were both clearly overcooked. The garden salad had way too much yellow and browning iceberg lettuce, and too little fresh green leaf lettuce. The customer-facing staff here is wonderful (Shout out to Holly; she is friendly and diligent about getting everything right). But management needs to have tighter control over...read full review

Went a little early for dinner. I had a burger with blue cheese on it, Blue Caboose. It was immense. I also got a half order of onion rings that was bigger than some places whole order of rings. Partner got a Lincoln burger, it was huge and they didn't skimp on the fries. Food was amazing and cheaper than fast food. ( Someone recommended the Train Wreck but I don't think I could eat all of that.) Yeah, most of the food has train names. Alas they didn't have fried green tomatoes....read full review
