“Quick, friendly service. Went for late lunch. Maybe 3 other tables there in the 40ish minutes I was there.
Got a thai coffee. Absolutely delicious.
Then pot stickers. Came out in 5minutes. Yummy filling and sauce. Nice crispy wonton.
Entree was pad thai with shrimp. Medium spicy, good balance of sweet and salty. Added shrimp to mine. Everything less then $30. Wish had one closer to home.“

“I wish i would have got her name. Anyways the young lady working the front with dark hair. She did an excellent job if I would have had more cash to tip I wouldve but figured I could at least give a good review. Our bowls were by far the best we have ever had. She was very helpful and polite and she didnt overscoop or anything but she gave you a healthy proportion of everything. She gave a good amount of sauce as well. And i paid for double meat and she actually gave me double meat. Before i have came and ordered that and gotten a teenie scoop of extra and wondered why I got charged so much. We will be coming back here. Thank you and keep up the great work.“

“Take out restaurant. Have ordered from them for many years. Best Chinese in Beavercreek. The food is good and never a long wait for the order. Combo plates, lo mein, fried rice, orange chicken, sweat and sour. Egg rolls and crab rangoon are crisp and tasty. Family owned and operated.“

“Amazing General Tso's chicken. I love that they offer the option for white meat only. The pork fried dumplings are always perfect. The pork mei fun is amazing. I don't usually like lo mein, but I do like theirs. Anything fried is always nice and crisp. The vegetables always taste fresh. I loved the addition of pho and other noodle soup bowls. They're very good. Lots of vegetables and meat. The Schezuan noodle soup bowls has a nice level of spice. The bubble teas are good as well. Highly recommend. I think Asian King is the best Chinese place in this area.“

“One, free samples were exactly what I needed to convince me to try this place. Two, the loneliness is the BEST I’ve tried and I e been to hundreds of different Chinese restaurants. It’s got a unique flavor that’s to die for! This place is totally worth trying and a great bang for your buck!“

“JY Bamboo , located at 609 N. Broad Street in Fairborn, absolutely earned this post tonight. So the wife was craving Chinese food this evening, and we were trying to figure out where to go eat. Ever since our longtime local Chinese spot left our little town for a higher-income area, we have kind of been floating around trying to find our place again. We made our standard Facebook post asking friends for suggestions, and got a good mix of replies. I also searched for the top Chinese restaurants in Fairborn, and JY Bamboo showed up high on the list. Then our friends Andy Eldridge and Corena Hill told us this was their favorite place to go. That was enough for us to finally give it a shot. Now I will be honest... we have driven or ridden past this place probably over a thousand times, and the sign out front never pulled me in. For that reason alone, I probably never would have gone inside. That would have been a mistake. Once we walked in, the place was very clean, very nice, and everybody was friendly and welcoming. It did not feel dirty or have that stale smell some places like this can have. Right away, the whole vibe felt better than expected. The first appetizer out was two pork egg rolls. They were a little smaller than I am used to, but they were cooked perfectly. You could tell the grease was fresh and not burnt or overused. Nice extra crunch too, which I personally love. Then we started with sushi rolls. My bride got the cucumber roll, and I had the shrimp and avocado roll. They came plated nicely together with ginger, wasabi, soy sauce, and of course the traditional chopsticks... that never left the wrapper. 😆 As soon as we finished those, the entrées came out with perfect timing. We shared a big portion of General Tso’s chicken, and we asked for it extra spicy and extra crispy like we always do. They nailed it. The pieces were smaller than what we were used to at our old favorite spot, and that actually made it even better. More crispy edges on the outside, while still soft and juicy in the middle. The spice level was dead on. We also got pork fried rice for the small upcharge, and it was well worth it. The rice was great, but the real surprise was that it did not have peas in it, which made my bride very happy since she usually has to pick those out. The pork was not those dry little cubes you get at some places either. It was actual little chunks of pork that were cooked right and tasted great. Then my wife ordered a side of lo mein for herself, and we were pleasantly surprised again because the portion was huge. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Not mushy, not rubbery, and seasoned just right. The pictures with this post honestly do not do it justice, because I am no photographer... but these folks are definitely chefs, and they are running a very nice, family-friendly restaurant only about 12 minutes from our home. It is rare for us to go somewhere and be 100% satisfied from the moment we walk in to the moment we walk out. Service, food, atmosphere, cleanliness, all of it mattered tonight, and all of it hit. As we were wrapping everything up one of the gentlemen that help run this family owned establishment even gave me some "white boy" chopsticks.. (that's my term, he did not say that) that have a piece of paper and a rubber band around them so I could practice using them at home.... 😆 So to wrap it up, since probably nobody is still reading this anyway... We found our new spot. That spot is JY Bamboo in Fairborn, Ohio. BIG LOVE 🧡“
