House of Hunan offers good and consistent food. It used to be a favorite of mine for lunch when I was dining alone, their spicy shrimp and rice is excellent. I don't know why they are not offering dine in now, perhaps loss of staff? I got take out a few times, but since I live out of town I'm not a fan of doing that and waiting a half hour to eat it. I hope they will again open their dining room. The staff is always friendly and very attentive, I miss dining in!!
Got a late dinner here (7:45) since everything else in town was closing or already closed... Apparently the covid comes out around 8.The restaurant was nearly empty, but service was friendly and efficient. Salad and a couple appetizers came out quickly and as expected. Everything was fresh, and tasty.I'll keep the rail on the list of come back soon restaurants, especially when burning the midnight (or nearly 8:00) oil. Thanks for being open when people actually need dinner.

The spicy seafood soup is just incredible. Worth the trip there just for that. I really cannot say enough good things about it. The staff and owners are just so welcoming and friendly. One of the best restaurants that takes pride in their business. Lucky to have such a quality place in our community.
