It’s bopping enough to have a good time, but not so busy that you cannot get prompt efficient service or utilize one of the many pool tables available or the dance floor where u can enjoy a great mix of songs from their in house DJ. I have been here many times now after moving into the neighborhood and never had a bad night. it’s a very relaxed place to hang out and let loose. All staff is friendly and Welcoming and remember your name , and the restrooms are always very tidy and clean. Shout out to my favorite staff member Lilly for always keeping the party going strong even if the crowd thins out a bit. Only criticism I have is I wish it was open more nights than just Fridays and Saturdays but in this economy it’s totally understandable. Seriously would highly recommend.Parking: Tons of available parking. “Food is always amazing. It was shocking to be a little hole in the wall bar, that all food was home cooked. They have fair prices, and a verity to choose from. I was told owner cooks all items herself. She definitely puts her heart and soul into it. They have everything from potato, lasagna soup, to wings, pizza, or a fully loaded chef salad. So Blackbird Kitchen is not its own separate restaurant. You order food at the bar and they bring it to your table. Service was quick and the food was good overall. Parking was a bit confusing. Do not park in the parking lot before 6:30pm! You will need to find street parking, which was not hard. Outdoor seating area. I always get the Burnzie burger with fries that are fresh cut and the best! Today my husband ordered the Rueben. He said it was excellent. We took home wings with Carolina Gold sauce. “Okay, I honestly love this bar. I went for the first time to visit a friend for his birthday. This is his regular bar and it was honestly like Cheers or something. The bartender knew them all and was just the sweetest guy. (He also was an older straight man, as far as I know, but was totally comfortable flirting back and forth with my male friend all night. It was really just . . . comforting.) They have a patio that's pretty large and open air. Yes, there will be people outside smoking, but it's not enclosed so you may be able to sit further away from people and not be too bothered. The inside seemed to have plenty of seating. Were there pool tables? I can't honestly remember. I was drinking. The drinks! They had a lot of liquor varieties. I don't know what their beer menu looked like, but I was able to have a few rounds of a mid-level reposado tequila (not Cuervo) and buy my friend a drink for about $20. I was floooooored and left a good tip. The bartender also had come out several times to bring us drinks on the patio (!) and empty everyone's ashtrays. He had a good rapport with many of the customers, I could tell. It's a dive bar in the best way--where the drinks are cheap but good, the atmosphere is chill, and everyone will eventually know your name.“

“The interior of Daily Growler is nothing special. A small space with a few tables, a small patio area, and a backroom with a few more tables for the overflow. The reason to go to Daily Growler? The around 50 taps of beer. If you are a beer lover this place is paradise. They have a ton of amazing beer options. Unique options many you will have a hard time finding at other places. Whoever decides their tap lineup must be really passionate about finding exciting beers. I recommend getting a flight when you visit. You wont be disappointed!“

“I was pleasantly surprised by Meister's. I recall reading other Yelp reviews from a few years ago that mentioned rude service. If that's still the case, I didn't experience it or see it with other patrons. I went during an Ohio State men's basketball B1G tournament game, and the sound was on which was appreciated. I also saw that they were a Browns backer bar, so it seems like they have local sports fans covered. Their six draft beers were priced well, but the main event for me was the deep dish pizza. I'm no stranger to this Chicago classic, and I (again) was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The bottom crust was a little thinner than you might find at some places, but to me this was an advantage. My one critique is that the Meat Lovers pizza seemed light on the meat, but there was ample sauce and cheese to satisfy. There were also daily drink specials, a pool table and dart boards, the latter located in a semi-private area with its own TV. I'd go back, and I'd even try their regular crust pizza which looked tasty from afar.“

“Make no mistake...this is a dive bar. Tucked/hidden in a small strip mall on Hoover Rd. It is old, outdated, and could use a good clean...but its still cool! Old school juke box with crappy speakers seems strangely appropriate. They make great drinks, and are very reasonable, but if you want to get anything more complex than a Jack and Coke, be prepared to give instruction. Schiltz and PBR seemed to be the preferred drink of choice for this crowd, which basically consists of 3 types...the old/retired. They sit at the far end of the bar, know each other, are friendly, but quiet. Rednecks and "their" woman. Ball caps, lot of camo, well, okay....you get the picture. The last just sort a falls in the middle. Working class Grove-Tuckians, who just wanna wet their whistle for a bit. Oh, and cash only. No credit cards here, but they do sport an ATM. They dont serve food, which I think is a good thing, but on occasion, they will be a mystery crock pot in the back by the restrooms with chili or something...pass. But, their claim to fame is their Friday night Karaoke! Packed, this brings in all the locals who think they can sign, usually after a few doses of liquid courage, and some actually are, but most are not good...but still think they are. Ah, people watching at its best indeed!“
