“We are from Kentucky and were in Columbus for a concert. I’ve always wanted to try a place that has been featured on Triple D, and this was the best decision ever! High Bank exceeded all expectations! We left with a full belly and A bottle of whiskey to remember them by. Food was incredible. Service was incredible. From now on, every trip to Columbus will include a stop at High Bank Distillery!“

“We have been taking our Vigo to The Wag since opening day, at least once a week, sometimes twice. He gets a little too excited with other dogs on leash, but we love that we can check in at the window and go straight through to the outdoor space without having to get him through the building on his leash.

He gets so excited when we're on the way, he starts whining and pacing in the back because he knows exactly where we're going when we take a certain turn off of the highway. Everyone who works there is so friendly and we've gotten to know a few of the staff pretty well, especially Vigo's favorites. He gets so excited to see Olivia when she is there, and has also gotten to know Natalie and will go to both of them for his little side hugs that he likes to give when he trusts someone.

As a veterinary professional, I appreciate that they have taken the time to train their staff on canine behaviors so that they can intervene immediately when something might not be going right, and have a points system to track dogs that are repeatedly having issues so that no one gets hurt.

Funny enough, as I was looking for pictures from when we have been there, everything that is on my phone is my dog with a random dog who had come up to lay by him. But I love that. Once they get tuckered out, they just find someone who seems cool to chill with and plop down.

We have had a membership since they opened and we plan on keeping that membership for the entire time that we have a dog.“

“Stopped in after volleyball at Backyard. I asked if I could get the Reds game on one of the TVs and the bartender, Colton said yes. Some regulars were watching the soccer matches but we found a tv that worked for everyone. I noticed the $4 draft Monday special and asked Colton who confirmed that included Bodhi. I ordered a Bodhi and Colton changed out the keg and let me know that the closer, Ian was coming in soon. Ian came in with a great attitude and kept a welcoming atmosphere in the bar. 5 out of 5 stars. Will be back.“

“This was a side quest. We were supposed to visit 2 distilleries in Columbus for the distillery trail. Ended up taking a tour with Jimmy at this one and then we had to head back home. Got to bottle our own bourbon at an AMAZING price. Had tons of fun. Would come again and I recommend the bottle your own bourbon tour.“

“It was a super long day in and out of airports. I flew in for a one day business trip to Columbus and was supposed to be in town by 5pm. I missed my first flight due to traffic in Houston, so I had to choose another one two hours later with a one hour layover in Chicago. I was hoping to catch the Yankees/Indians game 4 playoff game but it was over by the time I landed. I got to my hotel in Hilliard and looked for a place to have a few drinks to unwind. It was 10pm here but to me it was really only 9pm. The first three places I tried in the same viscosity: 1) Closed 2) Under construction, maybe? But definitely closed 3) Not closed but told me they weren’t accepting new customers because they were trying to close. What???? I decided to try one more place, and saw this place called Run of the Mill 0.7 miles away from my hotel on Google. I got there and saw signs of human life! I walked in and Eric greeted my right away, and was super friendly, and reminded me of that Texas kindness I was used to. A few regulars were very cool, and welcoming and we talked MLB, NCAA, and NFL. This place turned a super frustrating day into a fun night and positive first Ohio experience. Would highly recommend if you’re staying at one of the many hotels around here. Or if you’re a resident nearby and have never been here, give it a shot. Last but not least (to Eric): Go Big Red“

“My best friend visited, and we stayed in a hotel .5 miles from Mugsy's. Never been there, but wanted something close to shoot a game of pool. I liked its simplicity! Had all the basics: music station, pool tables, darts, patio...and nicely spaced out so you don't feel crammed in. Very chill, nice medley of people. Bartenders are very kind. Only downside was the mixed drink I ordered, which tasted terrible. Everything else was great. Food next door (of which you can order in the bar) was FANTASTIC. I ordered wings and fries--some of the best I've ever had.“

“Hidden Gem! I was in the area and googled cheap drinks near me, read the reviews before deciding on which bar. Based on the reviews I decided on here. THE REVIEWS are accurate! I ordered a Corona paid with $10 when the bartender Cat (btw she is a fav for me !) gave me my change $5.50 I asked if she gave me to much change as I didn’t want her drawer to be short . Cat asked if I wanted her to charge me more the price is $3.50 , wow! The atmosphere is amazing.

“First time going on a random Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised to find that it's not your usual movie theater at all. Though unfamiliar with the history of this establishment, I think it's safe to say it's old. (Warning: like the plumbing in the bathroom heehee) I like that it's independently owned and operated. You find yourself wanting to support theaters like these when possible. Easy to do too, considering they have all this food to order, (almost overwhelmingly so) and a LOT of draft beer because duh, it's not just a theater, it's also a drafthouse! Though you won't have very many showtimes available, it's fine because I'd imagine it's understood that a small little theater like this won't have the same operational capabilities that AMC does, and that is their charm. Recommending to anyone who hasn't ever been and reading their reviews. Let's just say I wouldn't not come back ;P“
