Bacon was massive and for it to be a double patty it wasnt ridiculously big and hard to eat at all! Some burgers can be gross and messy, this wasnt even close! Food is always fresh and delicious! The outside needs restoration and painted but so much history. Definitely recommend this venue if you are looking for a very cool venue & a historical site in Youngstown.“

I can honestly say it was the best gluten free pizza I have ever eaten. The pizza crust was phenomenal. I highly recommend this 5 star gluten free pizza. Try it you won’t be disappointed.“

I had just gotten out of a difficult situation, was waiting for an overnight bus, and my phone was almost dead. Justin, the manager, didn’t know me from Adam, but he handed me a charger and gave me a place to sit and recharge—both my phone and myself.

Over the next few hours I watched this place go from quiet to absolutely packed. The staff kept things moving, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

It’s easy to judge a business by the food or drinks. I judge places by how they treat people, especially when they don’t have to. Justin and his team showed genuine kindness without expecting anything in return.

If you’re looking for a place with great energy, good people, and management that genuinely cares, The Federal has earned my recommendation. Thank you for helping a stranger on a day I’ll never forget!“

It was made with care and didn't fall apart as I ate it. The background music leaned a bit too country for me but there were a few tunes I enjoyed. The dining area and restroom were clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will return when I'm in the area.“

“If you're there to drink and eat wings and watch sports you're in the right place. If you're there to eat a steak, you're definitely in the wrong. I've had better steaks at Applebee's. Ordered medium and was well done and tough. I was too hungry, and since service is slow I didn't send it back like I should have. Not that busy, and not once did anyone ask how food was, and manager couldn't care less that I was there. Cool space, but they need to up their game if they want me back.“
