“It’s become a family tradition to visit when we can for many years now. The food has always been good when we’ve gotten it, service & staff have always been very nice to us. Highly recommend trying the pizza & salad seems fresh and delicious every time, everything we’ve tried here has been good. Some in our family Love the breadsticks & others the sub sandwiches too. I really hope this pizza shop is able to keep going for many, many more years because we Love it so much! The dining room isn’t usually too crowded, perfect for those who don’t Love a crowd, yet enough space to still feel private enough even when others are there. Feels a little like you step into an old fashioned shop but in a really good way:) Thank you for everything you all do to keep offering fresh salads & delicious pizza (& so many other delicious options too) everyday❤️“

“The food is great - we’ve tried most of their pizzas and the antipasti salad is to die for. Unfortunately I can’t speak as highly about the staff. On several occasions, usually on Sundays when they close at 7, I’ve gotten my food close to 7 but NEVER after 7. I’ve placed orders for pick-up at 6:45 and if I wasn’t there at 6:45 on the dot I’ve been called being harassed to get my food because they close at 7. Today I went in at 6:50 and they had already put everything away, taken out the trash, and sanitized everything and gave me lip about wanting to place my order (1 pizza and 1 salad). They proceeded to loudly complain to each other while making my order. Closing at 7 means you stop taking customers at 7 - not that staff gets to walk out the door and lock it behind them at 7.“

“I've been to this location to enjoy dinner on multiple occasions. 85% of the time, the entire experience is fantastic, but my most recent experience left me wanting. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues tied to getting our bill correct, and then, adding insult to injury, I ended up going home with a considerable stomachache. Fortunately, it didn't end up being any worse than that, but let's just say I had some concerns on that drive. 😬 but besides that, the food was very tasty, came out quickly, and I believe was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who comprised the party - being made up of eight people. That is another point: this location can accommodate larger groups as well as smaller groups. Also, I strongly recommend the chocolate chip cookie 🍪 , which I know couldn't have been the culprit of my stomachache, because I saved it to enjoy at a later time. In fact, the chocolate chip cookie is one of the primary reasons why I'm excited to go to Northstar whenever it comes up as a dining option! The homemade ginger ale and kombucha are favorites of mine, as well as the North Star Burger - and that is coming coming from somebody who is a meat-eater most of the time! Enjoy!“

“I love the Chocolate Cafe. I have come here many times, most recently to surprise a friend for her birthday. I ordered a full size Lemon and Berry Marscarpone cake. She loved it!! I loved! And there was a large amount to take home and share with her family. We also enjoyed some martinis and I took home some chocolate covered strawberries. 10/10“

“WOW! the italian wedding soup was savory and delicious. The burrata cheese plate was loaded with fresh tomatoes, basil, pesto, and balsamic. We had the cacio e pepe and the penne alla vodka, both were a solid 11/10. This place is definitely on my list of top Italian restaurants in Columbus. The service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. “This is one of my very favorite restaurants. Everything my husband and I ordered last night was absolutely delicious: salmon with couscous salad side, BBQ ribs with fries and slaw, an extra side of tomato/feta salad, and carrot cake for dessert. I never thought I could eat ribs without getting messy so it was a bonus to be able to eat them without ever picking them up! They were thick and saucy without being sloppy. The sauce (house made, I was told) was sticky and coated nicely and there was a lot of meat on each bone. They were so tender that I could simply run my fork over them to eat. The slaw was different than I've ever had - not sweet but a lot of flavor without being too savory. I never go to Hudson 29 without ordering the tomato/feta side - this time is was our appetizer. We've dined here numerous times and I've never received anything I didn't like. If you like french dip sandwiches, theirs is scrumptious. It was a difficult to order something new this trip but I'm so glad I did. I think I found my new favorite meal - the BBQ ribs. We were celebrating our anniversary and our carrot cake was served with a chocolate Happy Anniversary sign on top. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive as well. If I had any TINY wish, it would be that the restaurant wasn't quite so noisy. It can be difficult to have a conversation and hear over the noise. Eat at Hudson 29 - you won't regret it!“

“Amazing restaurant by general standards, let alone one in a hotel. Open kitchen, so you can tell that it is clean and active, not just a glorified microwave room. Very delicious food, at a reasonable price for being in a hotel, and really about the same price as the food court in the convention center. One time we had to wait an hour for the dinner, but the manager brought the food out to us and comped the bill without us even asking. I recommend the brisket, both in a sandwich and as a dinner plate.“

“I was back in New York City and there were so many foods that I missed. My family and I stopped towards the end of that trip at 65 Market Place for their buffet by the pound. I had several things I had hoped to, several others that I hadn't thought to, and still more I was glad to try. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, as was the Italian sausage with peppers. I also enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana, the Greek salad, beets, and grilled chicken. I feel like there may have been other things I had a little of that now slip my mind. The variety was so impressive, there were many more things I would have tried if I were not strict with myself. The spinach pie was my least favorite of my choices but that's just preference. Everything I had was excellent, fresh, and tasty. They also have a clean comfortable dining area and clean restrooms as well. Definitely a good place to stop for lunch!“

“Great food, lots of fine dinners to choose from. Their bison steak is the best I've had anywhere! I had some garlic mashed potatoes and steamed carrots with that and some lemonade. I've dined in this place before, ate bison burgers but this time I opted for their bison filet steak, and it was delicious. The whole meal was. Facilities are clean, now with soap dispensers placed around for your convenience. I hadn't been to this area since Covid hit and that has changed everything but I'm happy this restaurant is still in business. I came to eat there because I wanted to eat a fine meal before seeing the German band Kraftwerk that evening. The waitress was very quick in serving the food and very friendly. Sure, the dinners may be more expensive and there's not many restaurants in the Nationwide Arena area now, but why not go for something unique and special to add to your fun day? I have eaten here before and after attending events such as hockey games, Phil Collins, Bruce Springsteen, RUSH, (Jeff Lynne's) ELO, Adam Ant, Noel Gallagher and more throughout the Arena District. I'm glad this place is still around after all that's occurred during the past few years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who attends any event in the Arena District. It's as good as it ever was, maybe better. Food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness - ***** out of five. I will certainly eat at this place again, just as I have at previous times. Kudos! 😋🙂😇“

“The jalapeño corn bread and honey butter is out of this world and the pork chop was insanely delicious and juicy! The mixed veggies were sadly over-seasoned with curry and were inedible. But the mashed potatoes made up for it and the bourbon Demi glace was the perfect gravy for both. The noise level was from the street and not the responsibility of the restaurant but was still an issue.“
