“A nice family style restaurant with a good menu. Probably more on the pub fare but they do have some dinner entrees. A little variety for everyone. A good local spot also convenient for travelers and others. Easy access off of I-275 of less than a 1/2 mile from the exit. We've always had friendly service here. The food has always been good.”

“First time at this establishment, but my wife has been here many times over the years. She chose this for our lunch this day, which was a great choice! Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere was warm, and the interior appearance was detailed, fancy, and well maintained. Our lunch was delicious, and their dinner menu looks enticing!”

“Went with my family today and was very excited to try it. They were extremely busy and every table was full but the one and only server was amazing and was running around above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience (she also enlisted the help of the cat eared robot to bring the food to the table, which my little brother was so excited about and was an awesome touch). We all enjoyed the create your own ramen, which was the best I have ever had. My mother is newly gluten free due to stomach allergies. When the kitchen found this out, they explained that a lot of the seasonings which contained soy may upset her stomach, they came up with the idea to use rice in the soup instead of noodles, the chef also brought my mothers soup out deconstructed with a seasoning blend he had put together just for her so she could still enjoy the flavors while carefully helping her avoid her new allergy, he was so sweet and patient and understanding. It was amazing and really showed a passion not only for food from the staff but for their patrons experience. Will definitely be going back and you shouldn’t miss the opportunity.”
“The parking lot will tell you all you need to know. It's always packed and if it was bigger even more people would probably come. It is worth the wait though! They offer a rewards program which isn't common with the creamy whips around here so that's a nice added bonus. They are currently running a special where you can take a yard sign and earn a gift card. There are a few food options and the chili is Cincinnati style and delicious. There are a few non dairy options like dole whip and slushies. The best dish I've had here is the Reese Cup parfait. Mine is pictured without whip cream but it comes with it if you like. It has enough flavor without it for me. If you're obsessed with the peanut butter and chocolate combination then you'll love it. Lots of different and unique options for everyone.”

“My wife recently surprised me with cream horns from Pastries by George, which are my favorite dessert, and the best outside Chicago or New York. She ordered several dozen for my party. They were gone within minutes of us putting them out….thankfully I set a few aside just for me. Everything we try (and we go there regularly) is phenomenal. The best in the city for anything with puff pastry and for cupcakes-there’s not even a close second. Thanks for making my birthday fun! Chef Drew”

“Such a great find! We stopped in for dinner, and the food is delicious. We especially enjoyed the chicken and corn chowder, and the honey jalapeño cornbread is awesome! Service was especially friendly and you can feel the care that goes into all of the small details. I’m so glad we found this gem of a small local restaurant!”

“Went here for lunch and the food was really good. The meat was tender and flavorful. The fries were delicious! Definitely will be going back and try other options on the menu.”

“Food was just OK. They mix 3 type of fries (straight, curly, and waffle) and call them undecided fries. The fries were not hot and fresh, they were a bit old. The chicken in the chicken tacos was so dry. Didn't care for the Chicken tacos because it was just dry chicken strips with cold chopped deli style slaw like KFC. It made the taco cold, wet, and sloppy. That may be more my preference as opposed to what other people like. I changed from 3 stars to 4 because Proof reached out to me and we very considerate.”

“We were in eastern Indiana for the Eclipse on 4/8/24, and the day before were driving in Aurora and stopped for lunch at Alejandra's Authentic Mexican Restaurant for lunch. It's a nice place, your typical nicer Mexican restaurant. A very nice hostess seated us. Our server gave us chips and salsa, but also a cheesy Mexican dip. I thought that was a nice touch. We started with sodas, my wife with an unsweetened Iced Tea and I with a Mug root beer. For lunch my wife had steak fajitas, which she reported as very decent, exactly what she was expecting. I had a Burrito Rancher, which held steak and chicken, along with other burrito fillings you'd expect. The burrito on the plate was surrounded with several shrimp, and pineapple chunks. It was all covered with a white sauce. The burrito itself was fantastic, and the shrimp and pineapple made it that much better. Next time I'll get it without the sauce on it, or maybe on the side. The burrito itself was good enough on it's own. We also saw that they prepared guacamole tableside. We didn't do it but we wish we did.The restaurant was decorated inside as you might expect, but the decorations were maybe a cut above your average Mexican place. The service was very prompt, and the servers friendly. We were never left waiting for anything, and when we stood up to leave, four people NOT our server said goodbye to us.If you like Mexican food, I'm sure Alejandra's will not disappoint.”

“I think I discovered (by recommendation of good friend), a delightful new coffee shop. Oh my goodness! First off, the folks that work here are super friendly and wildly patient. I had the hardest time selecting an item from the menu (they have so many delightful options). The latte I ordered was simply outstanding. It was so rich in flavor and creamy I can't even believe it was made with skim milk. It was an absolute indulgence. The atmosphere is so charming complete with plants in the windows (hello cleaner air and kitschy atmosphere), but the bright teal chairs, and the shelves upon shelves of delightful local products. I had an apple pecan salad. It was simply prepared, fresh and a nice side-salad size. Perfect for snacking. Last. Not only is this place simply amazing top to bottom, but the food is very reasonable priced. Instead of focusing on huge portions, it's simply, high quality, freshly prepared food. I can't wait to get back and priced as it is, I can see myself eating here often!”

“I love the hummus and bread, I add tapenade and cukes for a little twang and crunch! Mmm mmm good! I also got the tomato soup, it smells wonderful and has a great flavor. It’s a little too much like a sauce for me but I’m use to smooth tomato soup and this had some volume/ texture! (Not a bad thing, just not my vibe) I also tried the mango jet tea, delicious and a quick bite out of the meltdown melt (I want more but it’s for later)”

“Sunnyside Grill is your classic glimpse of an American diner. Tucked away in the greater Cincinnati region, this diner takes pride in its home with not only Cincinnati style chili on the menu, but also their famed breakfast platters scream Cincinnati. The Smelvin is a pile of breakfast goodness including eggs, bacon, ham, goetta, potatoes and of course, cheddar cheese. This platter is so large that two or three people can eat this monstrosity and be full. Between the mound of cheddar cheese and the goetta, this breakfast reminds you that Sunnyside calls Cincinnati home. With bacon so crispy it shatters and perfectly fried potatoes, this place reminds you that the star of any diner is whatever masterpiece graces that griddle during the breakfast hours.”

“My husband and I have been here once before and it was great, but we came when very busy. This time we stopped for an early dinner when it was relatively calm. Our waitress Haley was excellent, quite possibly the best service either of us have ever had. We got drinks, I had sushi, he had the lamb. Honestly the best sushi I've ever had, and I'm not new to this. The thai basil sauce was fabulous. The lamb was phenomenal as well (that mint pesto? Chef's kiss). We had cheesecake for dessert. The restaurant has been remodeled since our last visit and it looks great, loved the vibe. The owners clearly understand that you have to spend money to make money. Overall 10/10, one of our favorite places ever.”

“Highly recommend. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Great service. The fishette basket and home made tartar sauce is out of this world!! Puts Lake Nina and Frisches to shame. I crave it and cannot find myself to order anything else.”
