“Our server, Lauren was absolutely amazing! It’s rare to find someone so young and upbeat and helpful. We would definitely be back just to see her. The fact that the beer was wonderfully delicious is just a bonus.“

“Love this place. The barbeque is stellar. It's kind of old school selling out of the trailer. But that's a good thing.“

“I have not had anything I don't like so far. To be honest- I am extremely picky about chicken. I am one of the few(?) people that don't like the fat, cartilage, etc. I have been very happy with the chicken I have gotten several times already. The grilled boneless chicken breast is my favorite. So many of the sides are good that it's hard to decide which ones!“

“We had dinner tonight at the Stow location celebrating my sons 24th birthday. Reagan was our waitress and she was THE BEST waitress we've probably ever had. She kept up on drinks, was very friendly, she made sure all of our food was good and was patient with us. We had a great dinner and I just wanted to give her a shout out.“

“Finally made our first trip to Oak and Ember on a Friday evening. We made reservations, so we were promptly seated; oddly, the restaurant was only about half full. We had the burnt ends and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were pretty standard, but the ends were fantastic - some crispy, some a little fatty, all covered in BBQ sauce.
Main courses were brisket and pull pork; again, both cooked perfectly. Prices were a little high, but portions were very large. Drink prices were also on the high side (4 cocktails came to $64). They have a HUGE bourbon list with different flight options if that is your thing. Wait staff was not very attentive, but not rude as some other reviews have stated. Plenty of menu options (looking forward to trying the meatloaf!), so we will be back.“
