“We went for the first time after driving past it many times saying we should try this place… and let me just say it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing!! Raising beef cows ourselves it’s always hit or miss with good steaks and this place definitely surpassed our expectations! The seafood was good also. Our waitress (I can’t remember her name) was amazing she was so kind and attentive. 10/10 highly recommend for a date night.“

“You seat yourself & the place was packed. We were told to sit at a dirty table & they would clean it. They did pretty quickly. Our server warned us there would be a long wait on food. It really wasn't bad, maybe 25 minutes. She kept checking on us. They have rocker tables that are really cool & the band was good. The food was good too“

“Love enjoying a cocktail with a burger and fries while seating on a pier! Once your order is in, it’s usually quick service. Beautiful fun spot to enjoy lunch. Everything I’ve had on the menu has been delicious. Definitely recommend if you enjoy outdoor seating and don’t mind a little occasional wind. This is also my GF’s favorite spot in town.“

“My family and I dined at Casa Real in Sandusky, OH. yesterday July 12, 2025. Overall it was a great experience. I only took one star on the overall rating because seating was cramped, but then again I am 6'5" so I guess that makes a difference. However what make my experience exceptional was the service. Our waitress name was Dianna. Wow, she is awesome. She took care of us better than any waitress that I have had probably ever, and that is saying something because I've been around for a wh ile and love to eat out. She kept our drinks full and everytime we needed something she was there and got it for us quickly and didn't forget anything. And believe me, they were super busy, but our family needs were met very very quickly and always with a smile. Dianna, I hope you and your boss can read this, I want to thank you for such a great experience. You have a new customer at least as long as you work there.“

“Drove an hour away from home to look at a truck that unfortunately I ended up not getting. As we were headed back we saw Gilhuly's and stopped in at a whim. I sure am glad we did. “Of course, the chicken was excellent. Perfect. Juicy. But I have to write a review because of the customer service. Just excellent. We saw a young boy from another family accidentally drop his food. He was devastated. And the staff jumped right at it and took care of everything! Told him it was okay, promptly got him some new food, and cleaned it up with compassion and grace. “Tomo Hibachi honestly has me confused by some of these reviews because… did we eat at the same place? Were some of y’all reviewing this immediately after getting off Maverick with heat exhaustion and a souvenir cup full of mystery liquid? 😭

My experience was genuinely great from start to finish. The service was friendly, quick, and attentive without feeling overbearing. Everyone working there seemed locked in even with the chaos that naturally comes with Cedar Point crowds and hungry roller coaster zombies roaming around the hotel.

The food was also really solid. Fresh, flavorful, cooked well, and exactly what I wanted after a full day of getting rag-dolled by steel coasters and Ohio humidity. The hibachi hit the spot in a major way. Sometimes people act like every vacation restaurant needs to deliver a Michelin-starred spiritual awakening. Meanwhile I’m over here just appreciating hot, tasty food and kind service after surviving Millennium Force.

And honestly? Tomo delivered.

The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff was great, and the whole experience felt way better than some of the dramatic reviews would have you believe. If you’re staying at Hotel Breakers and want a dependable dinner without leaving the property, this place absolutely does the job.
