The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. “Previous experience had been better. We were seated at a table for two that was extremely small and in the traffic area. My dinner partner is a very large man and he felt crowded. Our waitress was also the bar tender so she was very busy. Took 20 min. to get the first drink. Unusually noisy. Not a perfect evening.“
