“I am a local photographer here in Jefferson, Oh and I have been to the coffee shop a few times now and have to say that the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I have always been met with kindness from the staff. Today I have the pleasure of meeting the owner who was also very kind and generous and has allowed me to use her coffee shop for upcoming photosessions for my clients! I have also enjoyed their refreshments whether that be their handmade smoothies to their hot and cold coffees!!”

“I love going and eating at the diner it is family owned all the staff r very friendly the food is amazing. The best thing I had was the Reuben sandwich but if you really want to try something really good they have freshly homemade baked pies. The best one I’ve had is the peanut butter one. stop in sometime and say hello. It is a friendly family owned business.”

“When I shop in Andover, I take a field trip to Byler’s. First, I order a freshly made deli sandwich. While they’re making it, I grab a basket, meander around the store a buy something new or unusual each time. All of their refrigerated pre-made salads are tasty, such as the potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw. There are many fresh and frozen goodies i plan to try next. They offer many different flours, sugars, sprinkles, spices, bulk foods, candies, and some very flavorful Salt Creek coffee beans. 🫘 Their homemade bread selection is outstanding, their baked goods are delicious, and I appreciate that they offer servings and portions for one person, i don’t need a family size. Beyond food, there are also gifts, greeting cards, handmade items, art, furniture, kitchen tools, holiday ingredients and treats … everywhere you look there is something interesting. Lovely, pleasant employees.”

“Today was our 1st time at Mugs Restaurant. my wife has Alzheimer's and a gentleman saw us come in, and me taking care of her while in the restaurant. we were leaving and he came up to us and thanked me for what I'm doing for her. we shook hands and I introduced him to Mary Ann. His name is Jim, and he also paid our bill. I wish to thank him again. It was a nice 1st visit, and the food was excellent. we will go back again. Again, Thank You Jim.”

“Every year my boyfriend wants a cheesecake for his birthday. This year I found this place on google when this one place near me was booked out too long. And I am so happy that that had happened! Because this was the best cheesecake my boyfriend and I have ever had! Next time I’ll be asking for extra cool whip, as it was home made too and sooooo good!

“Excellent. Clean and huge Menu, Szechuan based but many traditional options. Recommend the grilled Teriyaki chicken. Not at all covered in sugar but just chopped chicken with very mild flavors for a wonderful example of grill mastery. A great, flavorful option without piles of sugar. Big portions !”

“From walking in to walking out I had a great experience. Walking in I was immediately greeted and the girls were friendly. They were a little busy but my wait was still next to nothing! During their rush, they were still so nice and I didn’t feel rushed so the next customer could order. My food tasted fresh and was absolutely delicious!”

“My first time here was tonight. I got a Gyro combo. So I did not get to eat my food for 45 mins, (driving to our destination and then waited about 20 mins to eat.) but the fries were still crispy and delicious! The gyro….absolutely incredible. The flavors are out of this world. Will be returning because I’d like to try more menu items!!”

“I have passed this place numerous times many many times every time I would go by. It was always closed till I found out their hours, which are great hours 6 a.m. to 3 PM seven days a week the first time I went there I had breakfast. The second time I went. I had breakfast today was the third time I’ve been there. I tried something different for lunch phenomenon food phenomenal staff restaurant is very clean tidy the pies are phenomenal. I would recommend this family owned restaurant to anybody in the area or anybody passing through the pancakes were phenomenal. They tasted like pancakes not something out of the freezer not something that came out of a big box and tasted like the box they came in.”

The staff is very friendly and the portions are large enough to almost always have leftoversto get to enjoy another day. Today I tried the cabbage roll and it was just like my Mom used to make (great memory for me) I met so many nice staff members - and they even remember me and what I ordered last time. Pretty cool! Do yourselves a favor and stop in at Kay's for some yummy food....you won't be disappointed - trust me.”

“If you are riding the Western Reserve Rail Trail, this is a great place to take a break. About 500 feet from the trail. Great coffee and tea plus home made snacks. Cinnamon rolls and other pastries were delicious. They roast their own coffee. My wife and I will definitely be back!”

The service is outstanding from the time you step in the door until you have completed you meal. If you have a large party, you need to let them know because they work really hard to make sure everyone, not just the celebrating party, are served the meals quickly.
