“We were in the area for 4 days. Cleats was the only restaurant we visited twice! Their outdoor patio is nice with a marina view. The appetizers were great. Foods were a little lackluster. The frozen cocktails were delicious. The second visit, our 4 kids were whiny, loud, and impatient. Our waitress (wish I would have got her name) was so kind and patient with us. She got mom and dad’s drinks out right away with waters for all the kids. Brought coloring pages and crayons. Took the babies binky and rinsed it off after it fell to the ground and brought it back wrapped in a napkin. She was very attentive and kind to our family. :)“

Our son wanted wings and it was the first place with a menu our family of 4 could all agree upon. We came in from the back and up the patio to enter and weren't sure what to put expect. We were impressed with the interior and that it was the first restaurant (4th overall in Sandusky on our trip) with an adequate cooling system. We were all impressed with our choices. My husband had the Greek cheesesteak and loved it. I couldn't decide between the mac & cheese hot dog or the French Dip. Our server JP a suggested the French Dip and I have to say it is one of the best I've ever had. I think their seasoned mayo is what makes their sandwiches! The daughter and I both got the mac and cheese. She said it was the best mac & cheese she's ever had and she's never impressed. If we are ever back in Sandusky, we're definitely coming back!“

“Serve what is ordered in a timely manner. Our party of 4 was here last Wednesday for lunch and only 1 of 4 orders was correct. We waited 10 minutes after being seated and received drink order after another 10 minutes. All 4 of us placed food order, ( nothing not on menu) and order was finally brought to table 30 minutes later. Only 1 order was correct. After this, it only took about 5 minutes for the other 3 to be delivered and the cole slaw was incorrect, ever hear of cole slaw with no cabbage? Manager was asked for and he was very rude, no apology and no compensation offered. Beware! They only want your money and have no idea how to run a business properly.“

“A time capsule but that's not an issue for me! They tell you to never judge a book by it's cover and with this place you really can't. As a vegetarian it is difficult for me to get anything other than pizza or salad. Tippers offers a variety of food that I can eat. I ordered the Alfredo and wow was I impressed. You get a small hint of whipping cream but it is very rich and creamy. The after taste of the whipping cream just adds to the fact that the chef is not just using the jar stuff, but actually making it from scratch! Overall delicious!!
