“We were in the area for 4 days. Cleats was the only restaurant we visited twice! Their outdoor patio is nice with a marina view. The appetizers were great. Foods were a little lackluster. The frozen cocktails were delicious. The second visit, our 4 kids were whiny, loud, and impatient. Our waitress (wish I would have got her name) was so kind and patient with us. She got mom and dad’s drinks out right away with waters for all the kids. Brought coloring pages and crayons. Took the babies binky and rinsed it off after it fell to the ground and brought it back wrapped in a napkin. She was very attentive and kind to our family. :)“

“Wonderful food, friendly people, quick service. Came to Middle Bass for a quick island stop to refuel and refresh after a day of boating, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The people who work here are very friendly. The restaurant itself is simplistic and pleasant. The food was PHENOMENAL. The cheese bread (or whatever it was called, I can't quite remember) was delicious, simply superb. The pickle pizza was also delicious, these people have the brilliance of putting ruffles chips on top as well. Simply amazing, awesome, and will return again!“

“We had lunch this afternoon at the Tin Goose Diner, first time visiting it came highly recommended from my friend Jeff Rahla. We both had smash burgers with iced tea. Our food was very good came out hot. It was a huge bonus getting to watch all the aircraft takeoff and land just outside the diner. The cleanliness of the restaurant was very impressive. Absolutely spotless. Our server, Jacob was very friendly and provided us great service .“

“I’ve never eaten anywhere that you could so easily tell that everything was made in house. The food was absolutely incredible with their meatballs being our favorite item. The steaks were cooked perfectly with a fresh sear that stayed on the outside and such a tender and even cook inside. Decor is really cute and made a great dinner date atmosphere. “We visited last week while renting a condo about a block from Tony's for a week. We found this place by accident, just strolling thru town. Our son wanted wings and it was the first place with a menu our family of 4 could all agree upon. We came in from the back and up the patio to enter and weren't sure what to put expect. We were impressed with the interior and that it was the first restaurant (4th overall in Sandusky on our trip) with an adequate cooling system. We were all impressed with our choices. My husband had the Greek cheesesteak and loved it. I couldn't decide between the mac & cheese hot dog or the French Dip. Our server JP a suggested the French Dip and I have to say it is one of the best I've ever had. I think their seasoned mayo is what makes their sandwiches! The daughter and I both got the mac and cheese. She said it was the best mac & cheese she's ever had and she's never impressed. If we are ever back in Sandusky, we're definitely coming back!“

We asked the kids what their favorite food/drink was and they all said their food (royal red shrimp, chicken sandwich, lobster rolls, and the french fries especially) was at Reel Bar and they loved their mocktail selection. The adults thoroughly enjoyed our fresh squeezed grapefruit and Tito’s also. Service was excellent and all the staff are extremely friendly! Highly recommend the royal red shrimp, was cooked to perfection and so delicious!“

We waited 10 minutes after being seated and received drink order after another 10 minutes. All 4 of us placed food order, ( nothing not on menu) and order was finally brought to table 30 minutes later. Only 1 order was correct. After this, it only took about 5 minutes for the other 3 to be delivered and the cole slaw was incorrect, ever hear of cole slaw with no cabbage? Manager was asked for and he was very rude, no apology and no compensation offered. Beware! They only want your money and have no idea how to run a business properly.“

“This review is based on a one night stay. The hotel was fairly close to Cedar Point. Was this a five star hotel? No. Was it the cleanest? No. Was it the most modern upscale hotel? No. Was the staff ultra helpful and friendly? No. Was it 300 a night? No!!! I was looking for a decent hotel to literally crash at after 12 hours at Cedar Point. Here was my criteria... A comfortable bed. Check! A decent shower. Check! Less than 300 a night. Check!Bottom line if you don't want to spend a fortune on a place after a long day at Cedar Point and you are going to crash 20 minutes after arriving then this is a great option. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and had lots of pressure.Just my two cents“

“Great place! My 9 year old had the best time too. They allow kids during the day Mon-Thursday for $10. I highly recommend this place for a day by the pool. The music brought me back to my 20’s -club days. We had a great afternoon! You feel like you’re at the beach here, & in this town. Will return“
