“Forget the brisket sandwich, terrible. Burnt edges and overcooked. Sauce too thick and not tasty Club sandwich was superb. Gyros was average, packaged meat.“

“The food is decent but nothing special. It is serviceable. But the service here is very slow. Drinks come incredibly quickly, but if you order food, you are in for a wait. The Ruben was decent, but the fries were ok. The drinks were kind of bad they apple mule was a special cocktail on the menu, but it was not thought out well. The ginger and apple did not blend well. The boneless wings were very standard. they're the same as you can get at a Pizza Hut.Parking here is all street parking, and depending on the time of day, that can be difficult.“

“We went to this place at 7am on a whim to get steaks and they were awesome! The lady who served us was really sweet, the cook came out with my eggs and she was really sweet too, and the food was great. Definitely will visit again when we need 7am steaks!! Lol“

“Stopped in on a whim for a burger and fries. OH MAN....am I glad we did - this was by far, one of the best, if not the best burger I have had in a very long time. My husband agreed. There was nothing at all to complain about. The bartender was our server, and he was super as well.“

“Was my first time here I’m new to the area. Instantly I was greeting by all the awesome people sitting at the bar. My bartender whose name is Brittany was so amazing . Her drinks are absolutely fantastic and I love how she personally does her twist on things. For a hole in the wall of a bar this is the place to go! Consider me a regular from now on“

“It has been a long time since I have been in this bar. Pool leage brought us here. Wow!! Who ever cleaned this place up,you did a knock out job. Congrats to all involved. An a very well kept pool table. I remember a day when you have to beat your way out of this place. Not anymore. This is a very well run bar. Very clean. I would definitely return. Would not mind making it my hang out spot. But it's on the other side of town. That is the only reason I have not been back yet. Good place to take a date,or just hanging out with the work crew. “On Thursday night there is a trio of fun bartenders , Allie , Micaela, and Monica. Always in a great mood and very attentive to your needs. The food is top notch sports bar type and well prepared. The selections are across the board and have never had a bad meal.“

“This is the meeting place for the Northern Summit Browns Backers during the season. I enjoy the Wings with creamy Cajun. They have a bucket of five domestic brews also. The group is enjoying the discounts as well.

“This bar and grill had decent food for exceptional pricing.Tuesday Tacos are $1, and they are hard or soft and better than Taco Bell. 3 stars, so it is okay, but 5 star price.I also tried the pulled pork sandwich and Mac and cheese side..4.99 stars. It is on a toasted bun with perfect meat placement. Maybe I should give it 5 stars.I am not from the immediate area, but the patrons and staff were friendly the few times I have been here.“

“The bartender. literally runs the bar. If she leaves the regulars will stop coming. The owner is unhappy and not friendly at all. Sometimes she hangs around on Mondays with one of her alcoholic customers. He has ( and brags ) about his diverticulitis as he downs his beers. What an enabling person. Many friendly places within a block.. I recommend not going near it. The employees have to buy the toilet paper, napkins, etc. Poor excuse for a neighborhood bar.“

“Pretty typical sports bar. Very clean. Waitress was amazing. Very quick on drink refills and to answer any questions.

The wings were decently priced and pretty big. The taste was a bit off. Not horrible but not what I expected.“

“Finally made our first trip to Oak and Ember on a Friday evening. We made reservations, so we were promptly seated; oddly, the restaurant was only about half full. We had the burnt ends and cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were pretty standard, but the ends were fantastic - some crispy, some a little fatty, all covered in BBQ sauce.

Main courses were brisket and pull pork; again, both cooked perfectly. Prices were a little high, but portions were very large. Drink prices were also on the high side (4 cocktails came to $64). They have a HUGE bourbon list with different flight options if that is your thing. Wait staff was not very attentive, but not rude as some other reviews have stated. Plenty of menu options (looking forward to trying the meatloaf!), so we will be back.“
