“We were coming home from a little day trip. Found the lake and thought why not eat there. Stopped at Froggys. I have to say the food was a solid 5 star. The music was good. A lot of people but didn’t feel crowded. The service was a little poor as in a lot of people checked on us not our server. I would recommend coming here passing thru town. Solid 4.7 star outta 5 in my opinion.”

“Good ice cream. Can't speak for the rest of the food. The biggest challenge is it's EXTREMELY slow. If there is a line, I'd avoid. 2-3 people working during the busy time ain't cutting it. Also, if you have multiple components of an order, you'll get a little bit over time.”

“First time trying Buckeye At The Lake while staying at Indian Lake State Park, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had, and the wings, fries, and salad were just as amazing. 10/10 recommend! The food is fantastic, but the customer service is what really sets them apart. The staff truly care about their kitchen team and it shows. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re at the lake!”

“Such a cute little shop with a fun menu, tons of variety and fair prices. Only complaint I have is that the cashier had the absolute worst case of the Gen Z Stare I’ve ever encountered, no greeting, no goodbye, just blank expressionless face and deadpan bare minimum awkward interaction that made me feel uncomfortable.”

“This location appears to be one of the highest rated restaurants in the area surrounding Indian Lake, and I can agree with this high rating. The reuben sandwich was excellent and the fries were also very good; I felt that they were similar to the sort of french fries you might get at a state fair. The staff were inviting and entertaining and the atmosphere was perfect. I believe this is a great place to check out for those visiting Indian Lake.”

“Craving pizza this evening, stopped in and ordered a pizza. Wow, was absolutely delicious, full of flavor. Toppings from edge to edge and plenty of cheese. This is a quaint, extremely clean, friendly locally owned pizza shop. Missy, you have a great thing going on here. We look forward to our next time stopping in for dinner.”

“Pretty standard american food. We both had burgers which were okay but nothing really impressive. Will come back to get coneys. The tots were expertly fried and deep golden brown- they stole the show.

Edited to respond and add that extra star- because they cared enough to ask. I think the only thing lacking in the burger was possibly seasoning the patty. Toppings were good and fresh and bun was very good. This could also be on me as I may have been able to request well done or extra seasoning. Im no burger master myself- but typically in my old neck of the woods we often got burgers from Swensons or Culvers so that would be my basis of comparison. The fact that you asked how to be better speaks to the commitment you clearly have to making great food and that definitely deserves the extra star on my review. Keep up the good work!”

“I’ve always love supporting our local spots around our community and this one for sure for its Friday Fish Special, Sunday steak dinners, and Monday Taco lunches, along with many other great menu items, and the atmosphere itself, laid back chill and a place for anyone to come hang out inside in the cool ac, or out back to enjoy the natural temps! Great place for a bike ride as well! 5 Star Dive Bar!”

“There is always something wring with this place. Currently there toaster is down they say this after your half way through your order after you tell them at the beginning. They can put a sign up. But no. They actually had all the ingredients this time though.”

“This is the first time eating here. So very friendly staff. We ordered the salty appetizer basket! Yum! I had the mushroom Swiss cheese burger! I haven’t had a burger this good in a long time! The bun was grilled perfect! My honey ordered special all you can eat fish and chips. “Good white flaky white fish!” Definitely worth the short drive to Roundead!”
