Just ordered from door dash on this location- best food on the whole site and I've been at the site for awhile. Excellent portions, tremendous flavor- their corn bread is sweet but not too sweet. I ordered Three Likkle Birds with cabbage and cornbread- even the cabbage was simply and nicely cooked. I couldn't even eat it all, will have another great meal coming to me. KUDOS to the great possibility of a great whole in the wall- step up and be pleased.

Great food, friendly service.

This is a story of unprofessionalism and laziness. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was met with the sight of an employee drinking something with her underwear and backside exposed against the glass.

When I walked inside, she didn't greet me, and when I mentioned my online order, she didn't even attempt to get up. Someone from the kitchen eventually had to walk out to hand me my food while she just sat there. This place has really fallen off, and I feel scammed by the quality of the food I received. I will never give this business another dime at this location or any other. The community deserves better!

Odd place. Website doesn't mention the location thats right where I stay. Website says prices are only good for the locations listed. When I called, I just got mouth breathing before being hung up on. And, if the reviews are saying that the food is bland, I'll have to trust em for how haphazard they are at communicating their menu.

Ordered food on DoorDash. Got likkle birds alone with two cornbreads. I gave 2 star because this cornbread is BURNT un eatable!! Super hard. Not sure why they think it’s okay to serve this.

It's my 3rd time purchasing from here and It's usually made great tasting but Today it was a very long strand of hair in my food and was more a prepared slop meal. It was cold and a very sheisty portion. I ended up throwing most of it away. Now I will not go to any of their restaurants.

Don’t support this location. Here’s how the interaction with the girl in the front with an attitude for no reason went:
“May I have an oxtail box”
“We’re out of boxes”
“…. Ok well can I get an oxtail bowl?”
“We don’t do oxtail bowls”
“Then what do you do with all this oxtail sitting on the line?”
“I don’t know, I work in the front, not the back.” ????
She could have fooled me because she’s definitely not doing her job well. No apology, nothing. I drove all the way up here after a long day at work to be treated with a terrible, indifferent attitude. I get it. You don’t want to be there. Well I felt the same way after that. I will never come back to this location. Whoever hired her did a poor job. How you hire someone for customer service with no customer service skills? Even basic people skills? Go to the one on the westside. They were cool, actually seemed like they have talked to a person before, and they weren’t out of boxes.

Irie Jamaican Food – Disappointing Service, Decent Food

My wife and I were excited to finally try Irie Jamaican Food, but the experience fell short—mostly due to poor service.

When we walked in, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot, and the woman behind the counter looked flustered. We figured she was just busy and waited patiently, but it took at least 10 minutes before she even acknowledged us. When she finally did, it felt like we were inconveniencing her.

Since it was our first time, I asked what was popular. She wouldn’t make eye contact and just said, “I don’t eat here,” offering no suggestions or guidance.

We ordered two bowls—I got the curry chicken, and my wife got the jerk chicken. I didn’t even realize she had rung us up and was waiting for payment until I tried to ask about adding more. I also wanted a beef patty (they were out), so I got a chicken patty and some cornbread.

I had questions about other menu items and add-ons, but the vibe was clearly “don’t ask.” She scooped a small amount of rice, peas, and chicken with no explanation of options, though she did check if cabbage and plantains were okay.

While we were still paying, she turned to a new customer who had just walked in and asked him, “What are you picking up?”—as if we were no longer there.

The food itself? Honestly not bad. The chicken patty was really solid, and my curry chicken bowl was a respectable 7/10. My wife’s jerk chicken bowl had great flavor—probably the standout of the meal—but it barely had any chicken in it.

We might give it another try someday, but the service really needs improvement. First impressions matter, and this one missed the mark.
