“First time visiting this restaurant for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. Megan, our waitress was absolutely wonderful with a smile and such great service and recommendations for things on the menu. My friend Stacey and I really enjoyed the entire experience. The food was very tasty and healthy portion of delicious fries with my Divine Smashburger . I will be talking about this place to others on the east side of Cleveland. Definitely worth the drive. Would love to get this restaurant in my publication, Shoreline Faith & Family which is family faith based to launch in the summer so that others can see what a great restaurant it is. Love promoting those that go above and beyond to keep them around for years to come!! Cheers to the team and the owner here for providing such a wonderful place to meet.“

“Solid food. Beef carpaccio was good. The dressing was really nice. Smash burger was also good. The potatoes that came with it were cooked perfectly, and the garlic ranch dressing for dipping was amazing. Ordered two wood fired pizza as well. Nice, fresh, fluffy dough. “Went here for the snowglobe experience during the holidays. It was a cute area where we got seasonal drinks and some good bites. The apps came out a little cold but our entrees were all amazing, i got the short rib and would order that again definitely. Service was good“

“It’s impossible to say how good it is there. The food is always top notch. Any item on the menu is executed with care and technical skill. The service is always fantastic. A neurologist friend took me here many years ago as a graduation celebration from nursing school. I’ve been coming back ever since, and I’ve never had a disappointment for a night or meal. “My boyfriend and I decided to finally try Rood on Valentine's Day after wanting to go for the past few years we've lived in Lakewood. I am not exaggerating when I say this was one of the best experiences and meals we have EVER had. Aside from the food, you could tell the staff really cared to ensure customers had an amazing experience. Will DEFINITELY be going back!“

“WRD was truly a fantastic experience. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and seated, we did get a reservation because it was Valentines day, but people next to us didn't and got seated pretty quickly on a Saturday. As soon as we were seated menus hit the table and waters were on the table before our server was there to tell us the specials. They have a happy hour everyday that they are open which included ¢0.50 wings that was fantastic. We spilt the burger and fried chicken sandwich, both were seasoned and cooked well. The vibes were casual, warm, and clean! Also, I got the Moscow Mule ($8 during happy hour) which comes with their own vodka and its was delicious. I don't drink a lot, but if I do I enjoy vodkas. I can truly say this is the best vodka I have had. I will buy a bottle when I host a party. This was our first time here and we will become regulars. We are going back in a couple weekends with family before seeing a show.

Also parking lot in the back that is big for Lakewood!!!“

“Found this place when I searched for best places to eat in Cleveland while we were on vacation and this one had good reviews and realistic prices so we decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! It was a warm and inviting atmosphere for being mostly a bar with extra seating. You felt like you were at home and all the staff treated you like you were family or a good friend and they looked happy to be there even though it got a bit busy when we had gotten there. Service was excellent, food was delicious, my husband got the ribs and he was in love. I tried the bbq sauce as I'm really picky about bbq sauces and it was delicious! The skull shaped cornbread was so good. I had a turkey club sandwich with the chips and the French onion dip is a must have. Great experience, we will definitely be back next time we are up in Cleveland!“

“Our meal was great! Kid-friendly. Great service! Comfortable local restaurant that was moderately busy, but not packed and we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Trivia night. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Rice bowl with chicken, boneless wings, burger, and turkey Rachel sandwich. Ryan brought out our apps and kept checking on us. “Never been here , came here with My step dad, immediately the atmosphere was so cute and rustic. Bartender Ricky was as phenomenal. Cheese meat plater was 10/10. All and all an amazing time can’t wait to come back!“

“A really nice neighborhood bar. It has the feel of a working man's bar. It's an atmosphere that I enjoy. The food I have tried is excellent with large portions. I had the best BLT of my life here. Usually I get the wings which far surpass Buffulo Wild Wings. The staff is friendly and very attentive. It is an out of the way place, but not far off the beaten path. I highly recommend.“

“After my wife and I walked our aardvark (a long story for another time) around 4th St , we attempted to stop in to Society for a quick nightcap for ourselves and we hoped to score a suet snack for Antony (see aardvark, above). We were understandably turned away; they have rules.

After stashing Antony in a safe place, we returned and were joyfully greeted by Austin (or was it Lubbock? My memory fades.) who carefully concocted a delightful cocktail with Creme de Violette as the star ingredient.
