The Gorilla

This was my first time at the Gorilla. the best part about it was the photo that my fiance and I got to take in front of the Gorilla. My fiance thought the pulled pork sandwich was very good and she doubled up on the coleslaw which she liked as well. My kielbasa sausage didn't have much taste but was spicy. Would we go back again? Maybe.

We unfortunately got here a half hour before they closed which means they had stopped serving bbq. I wanted a sweet treat so I asked if I should get a soft serve cone or one of their homemade ice cream sandwiches. They said their sandwiches were good so I went with that. Pretty disappointed, I would prefer one from the grocery store. It was a nice large size but the cookie was pretty flavorless and the ice cream was really icy. I would still like to try the food. I've been here with my family a few times before and overall we really like it here. It's a small BBQ/hot dog/ ice cream hut with outdoor seating. All tables have patio umbrellas which is a nice touch. Again, there is no interior seating, it's all outdoor. There is a few spots for customers on the location, but you could find street parking if those are taken. I've had their ice cream before.
