Always greeted with a smile and the food was so good we forgot to take a picture before digging in! This diner has a great atmosphere and prices, only 20$ for everything pictured! Will be going back.

So I ordered two coney dinner and a spaghetti dinner with meatballs and bread and got a cup of dry pasta, and two dry hot dogs. This was so disappointing, I dont get to go out very often and it was wasted.

New to the area and this place is fantastic! Love the small town diner feel, had breakfast this morning. Delicious food, and it was a take out and I was missing an item, called and they took down a note for a credit. Well, I decided, let's have dinner too. The spaghetti dinner was absolutely delicious, huge portion, salad and garlic bread, the heat sauce and meatballs were so good! And, got my bacon credit, I added that crumbled on my salad. Not too mention, the pricing is very reasonable! A new favorite to my new home/new town. Highly recommend!

You want old school family dining? This place has it. From the wood interior atmosphere to the dining counter for one. I had the coney dog with homemade chili sauce. Mmmmazing. The plate was brought to me with the cheese, onion and the chili sauce on the side. I have never thought about chilli on the side. Definitely a different experience than the pre made coney. My mom had the polish sausage with kraut on mashed potatoes. Apparently this is a Pittsburgh staple she told me. It couldn't have been better the way she told me it tasted. Overall very good experience here. Our waitress was new also which did not affect anything about this place. Thank you 😊😊

We have now visited both MFR locations and not impressed with this location at all. Service was not friendly or attentive.

Great food! Comfy environment. Staff was a pleasure. Becky was our server. Got the veal sandwich with fries and slaw. Wife got a cheeseburger with the works, ranch fries and slaw. Huge portions. Hot, fresh and delicious. Will return for perch sandwich or broasted pork chops next time!
