“Sunday morning, the place was very busy and there was a wait for our food, but once we got it, we enjoyed it. Ordered the French ie platter. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and French toast. Four slices and they were thick and dripping butter. Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon could have been just a bit crisper. Our server was excellent. Attentive and polite. She was the only one working the tables and handled a full house exceptionally well.”

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Scoops! My family and I always have such a great experience, but tonight really won over my heart. We unknowingly arrived two minutes before closed & they were still thrilled to serve us! There were six of us and they served us our frozen treats with huge smiles on their faces! My two year old daughter tripped over her own feet and fell in the parking lot while waiting for her ice cream. Poor thing busted her lip and was bleeding pretty good. Both the owner and the manager were there and they were talking to her, trying to soothe her, making her smile and laugh. They loaded her up with stickers and were genuinely concerned if she was okay. Great service is hard to find nowadays, but these two people went above & beyond for us! We have always recommended Scoops to family and friends & will absolutely continue to do so! We visit both locations & always leave with smiles and pure joy!”

“So listen!!!!! Book’s has me in a chokehold!!! They never disappoint!!!! I been coming here for a year and I can’t help but smile with every bite!!!!! Today I had the brisket cornbread bowl and it was AMAZING!!!! Pricing is sooo affordable & staff are always so kind!!!! If u have been thinking about trying it, stop waiting and run before u see that sold out sign!!!! “Great coffee concoctions, along with Gelato, that has extreme flavors. Besure to get your desserts before sitting at the bar. If you don't, you will have to wait in line since the bar will not serve edibles (hence 4 stars). “Skoops in Barberton is by far my favorite ice cream shop. They have a large menu and always have new flavors to try. The homemade GF, DF options vary. They always have vanilla bean, and it's amazing. They also have different GF, DF flavors weekly. My husband loves the frosted yellow cake in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. It has chucks of cake and chocolate. It's not GF, DF. I ordered a scoop of soft serve cake batter and a scoop of fudgesicle. They were both rich, creamy, and delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, dairy free”

“Absolutely yes! It was our first time ordering. We stuck with ordering pizzas. Ladies and gents, that's all we need to know. The sausage is perfection. And that creamy buffalo... no words. Just one bite took me back to my favorite childhood, eating at my favorite pizza place. I'm disappointed we haven't tried it sooner.”

“First time here and it was worth the drive. We got Salmon Benedict, blueberry pancakes, a Greek omelet, home fries, toast, sodas and chili to go. Exceptionally welcoming, friendly , attentive staff like others have mentioned. The (owner/manager?) brought us some complimentary baklava that he promised was (a) made without honey yet (b) would be the best we've ever had. I was very skeptical but he was right. The pancakes were fluffy and loaded with fresh berries; the omelet was loaded with fresh spinach w plenty of feta; my wife loved the salmon Benedict. Large portions- had to get the chili to go because it sounded so good. Simple, and quirky decor - gnomes, Christmas trees, a bit out dated but fun and spotless. Spotless bathroom and I'm pretty sure I used the very first electric hand dryer ever manufactured. Great place. Support it.”

“Very good food for the price. Extremely eclectic variety. The menu reminds me of Ferraro's in Canton/ Massillon. Very small, family ran business but really good at what they do, you can tell it's a family business in all the good ways. The only downside is how small the space is, but it's fine and worth it. Just try to get a booth. There is a nice salad bar and it's fresh. I've never had an unpleasant experience here and I've never gotten something that wasn't delicious.”

“Been here a couple of times. I only drink my coffee black so I can only talk to that. Having said it I have loved it. It is brewed quite well being not overly bitter or acidic. The atmosphere is great. It is an old storefront building with lots of charm and comfortable seating.”

“My friend dragged me downtown to try some upscale, hip & trendy joint that just opened up for breakfast. Unfortunately, that establishment doesn't open up until 11 a.m. to serve "breakfast". Turns out, that was a blessing in disguise, because Cissy's Diner is the kind of joint that serves breakfast at breakfast time. If you're like me, and you know the difference between breakfast and brunch, eat at Cissy's. They'll be glad to have you. Our server was very friendly and made good conversation. The food is classic breakfast fare, and the prices are the fairest you'll find.”

“Now I can’t remember the smash burger I had but I know it had the house specialty sauce. In the first bite, the flavors of each item combined create the taste of fresh ingredients. The beef is fresh and local, as in a few miles away local. Everything that makes up that burger was local. I wish I had a picture to show but I smashed it with the quickness. The taste of that juicy burger left me separated from reality until there was nothing left. At that point I zapped back into reality so I didn’t get a pic. I’ll for sure be back again and hopefully get a picture for you all. Also, in the back, the kitchen is impressively clean. It looked as if they had just moved in that day. I arrived just before closing hours and a manager showed me the operations in the back while my burger was being made. Retro Burger has an excellent standard and that is why I’m recommending it. Give it a try and post the picture for me hahaha.Side note and off subject and NOT related to Retro Burger at all, I will always write reviews only if I feel that it is worthy of a 5 star. A negative experience with any business should always be addressed with the business owner first. An owner should always be made aware of any potential issues. Help each other out and lift each other up.”

“I met Kelly at a vendor market this past weekend (she was the first we saw when we walked in) and she was instantly so friendly and her cookies spoke for themselves. Me and my mom got a Grinch cookie and an M&M cookie and immediately devoured them and went back for the last 2 grinch cookies since everything else had already sold out. I’ve never had better cookies- so soft and moist and the Grinch one was perfectly colored green with a little red heart (how CUTE and festive). My 14 month old son really enjoyed it too and eyeballed me for more as I ate my own haha. I highly recommend. You’ll never taste a better cookie!”
