Absolutely LOVED our meal! We had Tikka Masala (very hot - my partner had tears but couldn’t stop eating it) & Madras - just outstanding & so authentic! Hot, spicy & lovely rice!
Young man behind the counter is very quick, very helpful & polite. Atmosphere is very romantic, calm & quiet.
Service was fast & we were attended to many times to see if we needed anything more.

A1 Indian Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem in Mason, offering delicious food with authentic flavors. Every dish and bite is outstanding, from the Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan and a mango lassi to the paneer tikki masala and Rogan Josh (lamb). The food comes out hot, fresh, and perfectly spiced with generous portions. The restaurant is very clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is fantastic. It is a little pricey, but the quality makes it worth it. The vegetable samosas are the best ever, and the dal makhani and nan are excellent. For those who like spicy, be sure to get the hottest level. The portions are large, easily split between two adults. The building looks run down and unappealing, but don’t judge a book by its cover. It is not crowded, so go there now. Handicapped accessible as well.
