Mad Monks Pizza Company is a favorite local spot with a cozy, perfectly decorated patio that welcomes dogs. The atmosphere is cute and clean, with a nice mix of counter pizza service and sit-down bar service. Inside, there are plenty of TVs, a large bar, a pool table, a shuffleboard, an old school Pac-Man, and a chalk wall for kids. The pizza is hot, good, and huge, with generous toppings and a crust that holds its fold. The Caesar salad is as good as anything from an expensive steakhouse. The food is outstanding, with grandkids saying the pizza is better than ice cream. The service is top notch, and the staff works hard, with special thanks to Sydney for great service. There is a great selection of drafts, including craft beers, domestic beers, wine, liquor, and seltzers. The Gripponator pizza is good. The owners work just as hard as the staff. Mad Monks is perfect for a sporting event, a girls happy hour, or a family dinner, and they seamlessly accommodated a large event.
