“Stopped to eat here for the 1st time since I moved away in 1980. I.loved the breakfasts then. I was seated immediately and had a drink within 2 minutes. I wanted something signature so I ordered the Roast Beef Comfort Bowl, Cole slaw and a cup of Broccoli Cheddar soup. Soup and slaw arrived within 2 minutes. Once I tasted the soup I knew I made a mistake when I ordered it. I should have ordered a bowl. Best Broccoli Cheddar soup I've ever had. I took 2 pints home.
The homemade noodles and gravy were exceptional. The service and food were so good and the price so low, I left a 55% tip. Even better than I remembered.“

“The food is great! I especially love their chicken sticks. My folks are partial to the won ton ( wonton? ) soup. They've been coming here for years, and it rarely disappoints.
I put 5 for the atmosphere because I like waiting for food here. They usually have a couple of chairs and some newspapers to read. That and you can see the neighborhoods from the windows, which is a plus.“

“Meldrums it's a great place to go to get a great meal everything's fresh and taste awesome, try out their chicken noodle soup in this cold weather, I've been going there for over 20 years never had a bad meal , and don't forget about Thursdays meatloaf home fries and green beans😋 great service and great atmosphere!!“

“The prices are great, but what really impressed me was the taste of the food. I have never had French toast that was so perfectly cooked. I also got one biscuit and gravy and it was so big, it could have been a meal in itself. The biscuit was flaky and fresh. My only complaint, and it is surprising coming from a diner, is that the coffee was not good. It was bitter. It tasted like decaf, though I am sure it wasn't. It was just not good. Everything else made up for it though.“

“I took my grandson down there for lunch he had the pizza kids meal you get a drink a personal pizza and a cup of ice he had chocolate chip cookie dough 7.99 for all that and he loved it ate everything I had a chicken wrap and fries total bill 21.00 not bad my food was delicious too“

“Excellent cheeseburger & French Fries. Then Cherry Cheesecake for dessert. Doesn't get any better then that. Yummy.
Parking: Maybe 7 spots that are on even ground. There is more off to the side but it is like slanted.
Kid-friendliness: They have a very nice menu for the younger ones.“
