“If you have never been here, it is a very small neighborhood style bar. We went mid afternpps on a Monday in hopes of beating the rush, We did not beat the rush. We ended up sitting at the bar, which is not our ideal but doable. They were busy and it was noisier than what we like. The staff were very attentive and welcoming to everyone. As great as the staff was the food is the star. We ordered the smash burger and they did not disappoint. We have heard and read good things about them, nothing could have prepared us for how delicious they were. The burgers were juicy, piping hot and the best burgers we have had in, well I can't remember the last time. The fries, some of the best we have had in a while s well. We will definitely be back for more smash burgers and to try some of the other food. Probably will get the food to go though.“
“got food to go large portion of fish super skimpy on Fri portiondrinks were good pour for the price. keno was paying out well too. queen of hearts was at 8k..pretty Kool dive bar by the lagoons.Kid-friendliness: had a bowling game plus speed is 5mph so kids won't get hit. outside covered porch for smokingParking: gravel lot parking across the front of the restaurant and long ways on river sideWheelchair accessibility: it's all one level except outdoor patio has a step ..so main restaurant you can get in and bathrooms you can wheel in.“
“One of the only true, original dive bars left in Mentor. Stopped in yesterday for the first time in over 25 years and I swear the place hasn't changed. Good cheeseburger still tops the menu. Don't go here if you're looking for a salad!“
“Wandered in with some friends for a quick drink and was pretty blown away by the live band they had playing AND the great barmaids and service! We wound up staying way longer than the 15 mins we intended to because "Scatterbraind" kept playing songs we couldn't walk out on, and the bartenders made us feel right at home! Prices were great. Food was fantastic, (we didn't plan on eating there!) , and the music was impeccable! Everything from Pink Floyd to the Grateful Dead to Sublime, Tool, and lots of new stuff we've never heard that we hope to hear again!! We will definitely be back and we will be on the look out for "Scatterbraind" to be performing in the future!! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆ across the board!! What a good time!“
“To offset the review's of Steve and Sarah, with their combined 3 review's, who left this place one star bc the guy stayed open after the state ordered bar's and restaurant's closed due to Covid-19. Look, I'm not happy that the guy stayed open either, but just because he did doesn't give you the right to give his establishment one star. If you haven't been there, please, don't review it! Period!“
“A quaint neighborhood bar with friendly people and reasonable drink prices. This is not a fancy place to wear your suit. It is a relaxing place to stop, enjoy some good conversations, and relieve some of the stress after a Long Day's work!“
“This place redefines the neighborhood bar concept. The clientele is out of their way friendly and Sandy is the most incredible bartender you will ever meet. Always right there when you need something and greets customers with a hug as of she's known you for decades. They have a wonderful Sunday breakfast with eggs sausage bacon home fries toast and drink for 7 bucks. Tender flaky walleye that makes a skeptic into a believer. Don't pass this one by.Visiting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland... Take and Uber about 20 miles east to this lovely gem of a spot.Parking: Many newly marked spots in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: Not at all good for mobility issues in fact the front steps are pretty awful.“
