Bakers Square Reviews
Used to love their carrot cake slices here. orange in color , sweet creamy frosting and a huge slice.
omg not anymore.
Half the size , brownish in color and the worst paste ever disguised as frosting.
never again
Ever since Bakers Square started making Carmel Pecan Silk Supreme Pie I have got my Mom one on Mother's Day and her Birthday Day. Her last one was laid on her headstone on the first Mother's Day we were without her. I went to get her one for her birthday. They discontinued it... was told because of COVID!! WHY?? They made all the others?
Dear god not the pies ! Bought one last night and it’s just not the same baker square i know and love . Great response in calling back and fixing the issue, but the new pie vendor they are using is just not even close to the old one and the prices are outrageous now :( I’ve enjoyed them since I was a kid 🥲🥲🥲
Same great food, servers and French silk is pretty close but so so bummed about this 🥲

Village Inn, formerly known as Bakers Square, is a bright and clean restaurant that offers a variety of breakfast and pie options. Visitors frequently praise the breakfast menu, highlighting the good quality and freshness of the food. The pancakes, especially the Banana Cream Pancakes, are described as light, flavorful, and enjoyable, while the house-made sausage is often called amazing. Breakfast dishes like eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, and potatoes are consistently good, with many noting that the food is served piping hot and fresh. The menu has improved over the old Bakers Square offerings, with daily specials that are well-priced.
The restaurant is also known for its pies, which many consider wonderful. Certified pie enthusiasts give high marks, praising the great pies and recommending having two pies with chocolate milk. Bakers Square pies are still available, and the pies are generally appreciated for their quality. However, some mention that slices to go can be small relative to the price, making it less worth it compared to buying a full pie.
Service experiences vary; some find the service slow, especially when staff is limited, but others note that the staff is friendly and quick with food. Overall, Village Inn is recommended for its good food, especially breakfast and pies, with a suggestion to consider takeout during busy times due to occasional slow service.
