“I drove past this restaurant several times and wanted to give it a try. Finally I did. It was amazing. I took my daughter and son in law the following week. They too agree it is wonderful. I honestly loved it. We have a 30 minute drive but we plan to come back every 2 weeks.

The menu is so extensive. I could not believe the choices.

“since the sale of Old El Camino, I have given them the benefit of the doubt. 2 months in, not sure i can continue to support them. Customers were previously welcomed by the owner, who worked hard to support her staff. Now they have a ghost of a manager, leaving 1 server on Saturdays to hostess, serve, answer the phone for take outs, work the bar... 😪 When she leaves, so do many of your customers!! 👋”

“Food is delicious. Fresh bread and jam hits the spot. Bacon is very good. Not cheap pork bacon. Sausage patties were pretty good. Didn't taste like the frozen ones from big grocery store. Extra charge for onions in the hashbrowns. Hashbrowns I do not think are homemade or fresh but that's okay. Maybe I am wrong but they seemed to be like a frozen type. OM eggs were cooked perfect. Ham was a thicker cut but very good and not salty. Gravy had just a little too much pepper in it but was good. Cute little diner. Waitresses were very nice and we appreciate that.

“The best Chinese in Toledo. Unfortunately on our visit we felt the service was lacking. Not sure if this was just that day or a regular occurrence. Some folks walked out without ordering after seating as they didn’t get waited on. We will try again tho as the food was very good.”

“Randy is professional and never leaves anyone waiting. Beautiful amazing kind soul. Honestly when Randy is working that is the reason I go to village anymore. Randy is kind and supportive and really cares about his customers. Is always asking how you are and is honestly glad to see you. Very refreshing! The establishment is on point since he has been hired. ❤️ only negative is (and many agree) is if The Village a Tavern had more dj or karaoke nights. Us patrons LOVE the random fun nights!”
