“We came here for dinner one mid-week evening before taking a stroll through Summit Park. You can definitely show up dressed comfortably/casually, but they have pretty decent ambiance, suitable for some weekend fun. We weren't super intrigued by the menu; it was a little less extensive than I'd hope from a place like this, mostly heavier options, and maybe not a ton of things I'd order next time. For me, the mussels far exceeded my expectations. That broth was heavenly, the bread was soft and perfect for soaking up the great flavors, the mussels themselves were very abundant, and had okay freshness. My lady said her burger was mediocre. She tried both the truffle fries and duck fat fries and was disappointed by both. I've never seen her not eat fries before, so that says a lot! Service was good overall. I'd come back for those mussels any day, but not quite as excited to dig deeper into the menu. I wouldn't deter anybody from giving them a try, especially if out enjoying the park on a nice day.“

“Had a great time. Bbq chicken pizza was great. Husband had po'boy daughter had Ramen bowl. Everything was great however when the music started it was so loud you couldn't talk at your table. we were sitting half was through but was still very loud. Will definitely be back“

“One of my regular spots and also one of my favorite places in town. It's always nice to know I can come in here and grab some really good pizza and then come upstairs for great cocktails. The peanut butter tequila is weirdly good and they do a chocolate martini with it that is absolutely amazing.“

“This place is great! The distillery has a good variety of products, the atmosphere is great, and the food is amazing. We had BBQ ribs and watched as they were cooked over an open fire right in front of us! The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and tasted fantastic. We found Karrikin Spirits through the Harvest Host program and felt very welcomed. We will definitely be coming back.“

“We don't really drink much... but the little we did was very good as was the service. Our main thing was looking for a decent place to play a cpl games of pool from time to time. Their pool tables are very nice. The employees that we've met this far have also been very nice. It's overall a nice place. And by far one of the best Bloody Mary's we've had.
They don't serve food, but sometimes I guess ppl bring stuff in to set up for patrons to share... which is pretty cool.

“Has a bit of a Road House feel. Nice place. Had a bit of a hard time watching the game due to the TVs having to be so low (low ceiling) that the bartender was always standing in front of the TV and I couldn't see. Not her fault ... The other TVs are higher but far away from where I was sitting.“

“Pearl's hosted a work event with 20-30 of us in their upstairs private room. It has everything you could want, including it's own separate bar, and balcony. It feels completely separate from the bar atmosphere downstairs. Highly recommend booking your event here.“

“The wings are excellent. The service excellent. The atmosphere is great,. I have one complaint the beer is not real cold . If you don't drink it quickly you will be drinking warm beer. I got a garden salad and it was room temperature. Might just be me but I like the lettuce , tomatoes etc cold or at least cool.“

“My wife has dragged me to this place for years. The one saving grace that made the trip worth it for me, was the Gorilla outside the exit doors. It was tradition for me to slap him on the butt on my way out. I was severely disappointed to find you have removed this Gorilla. #BringbackGorillaButt I'd like to update that the Gorilla has returned. I can now happily suggest this business. As well as look forward to coming to shop with my wife.“

“There were four of us that came to listen to our friends play music on a Friday night. The hostesses couldn't have been more lovely explaining the wait, then getting us in for our table through the crowded bar area. Our server, Lilly, was friendly and on the ball throughout our dinner.

For the table we order fish and chips, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the creole pasta. The fish had an great batter and the fries were also good. The creole pasta was very creamy and comforting, and the chicken sandwich was overcooked so the breading had a yucky taste and the chicken was very dry. However, they pour a mean drink, which I appreciate.

This place is a solid restaurant with a fun atmosphere. In the summer it's even better with the decks and patios.“

“Hanks... Hanks is Hanks, solid bartenders. Pool table is bang up as well. I wouldnt mess with the bartenders cause they can handle their own business but don't think they don't have a plethora of regulars that will have their back, cause they're just that good and hospitable to their customers. Walk in and you feel like a regular. Love it and will be back again and referring to friends to watch the game at.

Parking: If not in the front go around back.

Found out later he was the owner. U may think he did that for business, but he was genuine. The place is always open, and I made a lot of friends there. “I've frequented this bar for my entire drinking life and have always had a good time. It is a local hometown bar so most people know each other, but we absolutely welcome strangers anytime. They serve an excellent menu for a bargain price, but only during lunch and dinner hours Mon. thru Fri.“

“The food was bland, hot,fresh, on the "chicken nachos",says it was chicken but all I was eating was chips, cheese, and veggies. I had a watermelon cup(but not a real watermelon)little to no alcohol, the picture has an ACTUALLY watermelon CUP? we thought that's what we were getting! Waited 10min for my waitress with little to nobody in there(she was new) I'm guessing food is cook order??‍♀️ because that took a while to get, bout time we got our food we had them put it in to go boxes, we had to hit the road! I would come back to this place to give it a second try! #no complaints....“

The art on the walls, the bar games they have, even the chairs are fantastic.It's not too big but not too small. The servers are the BEST.Being at Al's Bar feels like being on the set of a TV show. It's incredible.Highly highly highly recommend checking them out, even if you don't drink, just to see what a good bar is supposed to be like. They set the bar for bars. And they got good snacks too.“

Jess is always smiling and has a positive attitude and her service is quick.. Gary is always on top of his game and if he sees me standing at the bar he already knows what I'm getting and I rarely have to ask. I do miss thw food but the patrons and workers make up for whats missing.“

“Wow. Every single thing was a hit. The mango lassi was heavenly. It was a perfect thickness, and the freshness of the fruit really came through against the sourness of the yogurt. The roti had such a nice richness to it, and the flakey layers had me savoring every bite. The pakoras were delicate and flavorful, with the accompanying sauces really helping round out the flavor. The chicken sagg (spice level 2) was perfect, tender, and creamy. The spiciness is spot on! Even the basmati rice was elevated. And this was all in carry out! I will absolutely be returning here, even though it’s out of my usual routes.“
