“I genuinely enjoy Battleground. The pozole is quite good as are their in-house beers (contact brewed at Modern Methods)
The flavors of all their food is always taste well blended. Though, moving here from out West and working in Mexico for years, I wish there was a bit more oomph (and a bit more kick).
My only real negative is their salsa Verde. It's a bit TOO tangy for my tastes and I think it could use a little more tomatillo. But to each their own.
They care about their food and that's obvious I'm every bite.“

“The Blue Door Bakery is an absolute gem and hands down my favorite place to eat! This morning started with Nicolette’s perfectly crafted oat milk latte—smooth, creamy, and just the right balance of espresso. Paired with an almond croissant filled with rich, luscious almond paste, it was already the perfect way to start the day. But I couldn’t resist also adding the smoked salmon and eggs, and wow—it was to die for! Every bite was packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the kind of quality you can taste.“

“Ordered number 1 lunch with chicken and rice. Chips were hot, and salsa was spicy and flavorful. Queso dip spicy, hot and delicious. The only thing was rice was barely warm, so I didn't eat much of it. They seemed low on staffing but still served in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.“

“Huge subs! You will certainly get your moneys worth here. Fresh meat and veggies always. Very good food, have never been let down. Considering how busy they are every time I visit, they are fast and keep it moving. Orders are accurate, they remember the details. Only reason for 4 stars is you cannot call ahead prior to pickup. Every 7th or 8th sub you get 5$ off via a sub card they give you and tally when you order. I ordered once but it was delivery, I brought sub card with that receipt for another order a week later. The lady counted the receipt sandwiches but did not give me 5$ off which I should have received that order. Plus should have received a new card and 2 tallies on it. It was so busy I chalked that up, no biggie. But yes, that is why 4 and not 5 stars.“

“We travel to Akron, Ohio at least twice a year. We love having breakfast here. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. The people are friendly and we find this diner to be a great start to our day. Thanks for your hard work and friendly smiles.“

“Wow! A hidden gem! First, very clean, friendly wait staff, interesting decor. Second, breakfast served all day. Third, the menu items were simple, nothing fancy here, but really good food! Prices? I’d say slightly lower than average. I paid $10 for Cornbeef hash, and that came with 3 eggs, and potatoes plus two slices of toast! Plus the CBH was not greasy! Try this place!“

“Typical visit for me: walk in, sit at an open booth, check the current (and ever-changing) menu, order a selection that I may not have ever tried before, get on the phone to Lucci's Place next door and order a pizza, walk next door to pick it up, order another selection, enjoy myself.The guys and girls that work there are great--very service-oriented and very knowledgeable.They have been working on a renovation for a few months and it's all very secret! So...changes are coming!I recommend this pub.“

“I have only ordered carry-out from The Ido so far. The food has always been perfect. It's a bit pricey, but still worth it. My steaks have been flawlessly grilled, and are of premium quality. “We dashed an order last night and everything was so good, really fresh and delicious. Wonderful flavors but above all else it was a really clean menu. “I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They had great service, seated our party right away. Gave us a bowl of fresh chips. Our food was made really fast, and served hot. We had big portions and had almost enough for later. The good was very delicious too. Prices were definitely fair for the portions we received.
