Landing Casa Del Rio is a great place for a nice meal on the river when the weather is nice. The food is good, especially the Burrito Tropical, but the chorizo can ruin the flavor if it is poured on top. The staff can be helpful but communication sometimes needs careful confirmation. Many guests have returned for birthdays and celebrations; the waiter is friendly, attentive and can create memorable moments with confetti, sparklers, drums and singing. The outside area is lovely, overlooking the Ohio River, and the decor is clean and pretty. Service is usually spot on, though some orders were brought with full sides and charged extra. The meals are decent and the mixed drinks are good, and a group of five had a lunch that cost about $130 and a 20 % tip. Overall, the atmosphere is cozy, the food delicious, and guests keep coming back for special occasions and regular visits.
