Tex-Mex Restaurants near Newark

“As someone who is a fried chicken/wing fanatic - this place was pretty awesome. We were seated in a timely fashion, got our drinks pretty quickly, and our food didn’t take too long either! Now on to the interesting part.
I got ten wings w/ mango habanero sauce on them. I like spicy things, these weren’t too spicy, they had a pleasant burn to them. I would probably get the next level up on my next visit. I was VERY surprised by the size of these wings. They were much larger than most wing places I have been, about which I was very happy.
Another party member got five wings w/ garlic Parmesan. They were cooked quite well, the flavors were nicely balanced. Once again, they were quite large. She also got a burger, which I did not sample, but I was informed it tasted great!
Lastly, our third party member got a basic salad w/ chicken. When it came out, she was pretty shocked by how large it was. It was a giant bowl absolutely filled with salad and pieces of chicken.
Our appetizer was fried mushrooms, which I forgot to take a picture of. They were alright, not the best I’ve had, but they certainly weren’t bad.
The atmosphere is rather loud, so if you want a quiet place to eat, probably don’t come here.
All in all, 10/10 visit, would recommend, would come again.“

“I've avoided this location for years due to horrible service, but now I have nothing to complain about, the service (Terrence) Food and the overall experience these days is a far cry from some time ago. Worth going back and giving them a shot if you were like me. Welcome back Heath TW, we needed the weed! Haha“
