“Came to Artis for the first time with high expectations, from everything I've seen of the place it seemed unique and interesting. Those expectations were met and exceeded by the staff, food, and experience.

I sat at the bar, the bartenders name was Cory. He was attentive, and knowledgeable. He had an in depth understanding of the food, and drinks happily answered any questions, and made great suggestions! The vibe was upscale, but with more smiles than you usually expect at such a nice place! Get the Harrissa Nashville, the 9 Year Mac, and the Panna Cotta. The pickles that come with the Nashville are insanely good! Unfortunately I ate before the camera for all but the last!

Update: I wish I could leave a new review but Google will only let you leave one. Came back for the start of brunch and was blown away, the texture on the waffle was insane! The sausage gravy and biscuits looked as good as they tasted. I've been back since and the hummus was one of my favorite things. If Jeffrey Brown thinks it tastes like Costco hummus I'd like him to point me to the brand. That or he's never had good hummus, either way trust me you won't regret it.“

“I finished my cheese plate with gluten free crackers before I thought to jot down a review. The cellar taste was a 2016 Ridge Petit Syrah from Dry Creek Valley. It paired perfectly with my feta and fig jam combination.They now have gluten free bread. I had the avocado toast on baguette-esque bread. It was delicious.“

“I would give this place 5 stars if I could! We went for my birthday dinner and it was a great experience. They have a whole vegan menu and large portion sizes! Our waitress was wonderful too. We got the French Onion soup (which I’d literally never had before bc I’ve never found a place that had a vegan one), the blackened tofu Tartine, the Brussel sprouts, the vegan steak entree and a pb, chocolate, caramel dessert! Also, we ordered a side of the wild mushrooms and they were to die for! Everything was delicious and we had leftovers to take home too. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in town!“

“Hello Foodies this is Steven the foodie guy on a Saturday special edition today went to this place with my beautiful mother I had the first all the Maddie is outstanding me personally I will say the very pleasant ?, my mother ordered tabouli salad she would give it a 10.0, the brown rice mixer my mother would give it a 8.0, the grilled white meat chicken breast she will give it a 15.0, the beautiful atmosphere inside a many plenty of room it kind of looks like you're from like Venezuela or something like in here it's like beautiful design now for. the garlic sauce is a 25.0, the hot sauce is about a 13, the shish tawook rolled is rolled tightly and is about a 17.5, you can substitute the brown rice for the pickles and turnips. Definitely will back again again and again. What a hidden gem. The waitress named Maddie what an outstanding waitress“

“Today on a whim in a beautiful snow storm on my birthday we stopped at Jo Jo Carlinos for lunch. It was perfect! Our waitress was great! Everything from the mussels, spinach & artichoke pizza to the linguini and clam sauce was amazing. Topped it off with a fabulous espresso martini. Thank you so much.“

“The food was good. Limited menu. But I was disappointed in my Lobster Flat Bread. The pic and what I got were nowhere close. I barely had any lobster, most pieces of flat bread didn’t have any lobster at all. The Calamari was tender and well-seasoned but not crispy. The breading seemed as if it had been sitting for a while. The drinks were good but pricey. The service was poor. Except the Sous chef, she was excellent. But the others were a bunch of young kids who all seemed to be brand new, unorganized, and not what i would expect in a place so expensive. The marinated Ahi Tuna was excellent. All of that being said, we enjoyed our time there, but $156 later, I doubt we will go back.“
