“We were in Geneva Ohio for a Junior Olympic swim meet and we ate lunch there. I do t do reviews ever but this place was outstanding! The simplest meals were extra special, better than expected!!! I wish I could go back there again and again but it is far away from where I live! Go there to eat and you WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!“

“Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I’m beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Can’t wait to come back from Poconos. “I was amazed at the beautiful decor. We were warmly greeted right away and seated. The service was great. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. I ordered Coctel De Camaron Y Pulpo. It was a tower of food. Shrimp, octopus, onions, zucchini and avocados. It is a cold dish and I enjoyed it completely. I will be returning to try other items from the menu.“

“Nice little country bar. Very friendly bar staff. Good ol boy crowd. Country music. Somoking patio. Free pool on Sundays. Everything you want from the type of bar it is. Stopped on my way to my cousin's in Rock Creek, from mentor where I live. Will make pulling my pickup in there for a couple Jack and cokes a recurring habit on those trips going forward. Oh, and the prices were from 1998. 4 dollar , tumbler sized glasses of Jack and coke.“

“Spats is my kinda place. The first time I visited Spats, I saw a neon beer sign in the window and figured I’d grab a beer while I was waiting for my gf to finish her shopping. I was instantly met with the dive-bar/hole in the wall vibe. Spats did not disappoint! If that’s not what you’re looking for, you might try the dining area instead of the bar area, which has at least 10 TVs, so I assume it’s also a nice sports bar.

So I told my gf that we should come back sometime when we want to hang out. We did! There aren’t many vegetarian options, but you can get typical bar food, plus an extensive lunch/dinner menu. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were delicious! I see why some ppl don’t like the fries, but they were perfect for me. They were not greasy or cooked in recycled oil like some idiots claimed in their reviews. But yes, they’re typical of real potato fries: soft and limp, just the way I like them. But they were also a little bland. Nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. I also had the fried shrimp, which was fine. Cole slaw was OK. My gf liked her chicken salad. Portions are HUGE. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I’m giving it 5 stars to offset the idiots who gave it one. But overall, it’s probably 4.5 stars.“

“Amazing! What a great idea I had!! Stopped in and sooo glad we did! Decorated up as tacky as me and I LOVED IT!! Put all the things on the walls and make it matter! But food...y'all be here for the food! So good! Hubs and I ordered the Famous Fried Pickles for an app and they were amazing! Long quartered spears of dill pickle goodness! The ranch and ketchup were fantastic dippers... and yall if you get the chips go ahead and undignify yourselves and slap them chips in the ketchup! Hubs had the grilled walleye, with rice and beans. I had the lobster bisque and Maine lobster roll!! Yes yes yes! Delicious! Tasted so good! Soft roll, yummy lobster! Slam yo mouth good! The walleye was tender and cooked to perfection! The balls of dough with cinnamon butter before the meal were a nice surprise of flavor as well! The decor inside and out makes it homey, tacky (which we LOVE) and welcoming! As for atmosphere, resturant 10 out of 10! Now the other customers, the lady behind me sang off key til her all she could eat crab legs appeared. The couple behind hubby found that a seafood place smelled like seafood (which it didnt, you are eating beside Lake Erie inlet so.... hmmmm), one of his oysters had to be shucked by the chef because he couldnt get it with his teeth, the wife's tea didnt feel very tea-ish, and overall I wouldnt have wanted to be their eating companions for the day as my enthusiasm for -- well everything, may have sent them in a tailspin! This was a clean, pleasant meal at an equally pleasant place on the water and some people werent made for it! Anyway, try it. Go! Eat, come back to thank me about the ketchup LOL!!“
