Expecting a sit down diner. It was a cross between a diner and ice cream parlor. Service was great. Food not so much. Ordered fish and chicken dinner. Expected a piece of broasted chicken. Received 2 very small chicken tenders and 2 more breaded strips of fast food fish. Added crinkle fries and vinegar Cole slaw. Spent $10 for the plate. I'm sure they probably have to die for shakes. Can anyone explain this to me? You order a chocolate shake with chocolate ice cream. They give you a chocolate shake made with vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup! Note to who's in charge...that isn't a chocolate shake...especially when I asked for chocolate ice cream! Other than that, I have loved McClure's for 50 years! Their food is awesome, but why can't a person have an actual CHOCOLATE shake?
