“My Lady Friend read comments about this cafe and we made a special trip to try their food. Steve the owner made us welcome, and after checking the menu, I had the shrimp Po-Boy, friend had half a shrimp Po-Boy and a cup of Gumbo. I have been many times to New Orleans and the food here is every bit as good as N.O.— I took a cup of Gumbo home too. Delicious !!”

“Perfect spot for a date night! We were drawn to this place for many reasons. From the history and atmosphere to the limited days/hours of service, we knew we were in for a treat. Service was consistent from the moment we arrived.
Chef James Hillen rivals some of the top Chefs that we have dined with. The food was FANTASTIC! Our steaks were flavorful and cooked to perfection with an exceptional sear.
The garlic mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The homemade mac and cheese was creamy with the perfect crust on top. The salad was a good portion size and tasted like it was freshly chopped and prepared.
The asparagus was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The crème brûlée was balanced and creamy with a delicious hardened caramelized sugar layer.
We can't brag on this place enough and definitely recommend this restaurant. This is a place we will dine at again!”

“I accidently ordered food from Barboursville rather than Ashland , Ky and the manager Shawn not only refunded the order for me but also gave me a call to let me know that it was refunded. I wouldn’t have blamed them if they couldn’t have but thought that I would ask being a recent widow and on retirement income. Shawn went above and beyond. Top notch professional!”

“Our daughter is battling cancer and she wanted to check out Billy Bobs. We drove there today and it was amazing. All the workers were very kind and easy to communicate with. The animatronics were awesome as well. Lastly the food was the best we have had in place like this in a long time. If the scale was a 1 - 10 I would give them a 15. “Backyard was recommended to me to try out. 100% worth your trip. I started off with a small order of the Mahi Mahi. I may say without any hesitation, some of the absolute BEST I have ever had. Served on a stone plate with a side of soy sauce and ginger. Then I got the small Memphis pizza. Came out perfectly sliced. It had the wood burning stove markings on the crust. Very flavorful. 10/10 definitely recommend! I definitely will be back!”
