We go here every summer. Love the atmosphere and DJ ADubb... Ohio's version of a Vegas pool party!! Great music, drinks, food!! Would highly recommend if youre going to Put-In-Bay

If you’re in Put-in-Bay and don’t stop at the Blue Marlin, you’re missing out on one of the island’s best experiences! From the moment we walked in, Nick and his team made us feel like old friends. The service was fast, friendly, and full of genuine island charm.

The drinks? Absolutely top-notch—perfectly mixed, fresh, and exactly what you want on a sunny day by the water. You can tell they take pride in every pour. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between laid-back and lively, with music and energy that make you want to stay all afternoon.

Nick runs the kind of place where everyone—locals, first-timers, or repeat visitors—feels welcome. He’s attentive without hovering, knows his menu inside and out, and clearly loves creating a great time for his guests. His team works like a well-oiled machine, smiling through the busiest rush and making sure no one’s glass ever sits empty.

If you want amazing drinks, a fun crowd, and service that makes you feel like part of the Blue Marlin family, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back—again and again!

So, I came with 2 of my girls. Me and one of them are 21. The other turns 21 in 2 months. They denied us coming, yet there were little kids are wandering around. It makes absolutely no sense… she’s a grown adult who can live alone. We do NOT need parents around us. Maybe simply deny drinks for her? It’s insane that we can’t even swim and chill at this bar because she needs a parent. She is grown regardless. New rule idea: put wristbands for those who aren’t 21 but are over 18 so they can still chill and swim but simply can’t get drinks. It’s that simple. She is not a child.

This place is so entertaining and a blast on the weekends. We go every year and are never let down. When it starts to get busy, good luck getting any kind of drinks for a minute. This place can get super packed and super crazy. Not advising the kids to go to this one on the weekends 😜 That doesn't change my final star rating. I love this place!

We didn't try the food, but everyone said it's really good. Nick was excellent behind the bar. Nice swim up bar and a clean pool. Definitely go back.

This place has the energy of a Vegas nightclub mixed with a Miami pool party. Young or old everyone is having a great time. Large pool with a large hot tub and a swim up bar. Bartenders and staff are super friendly, fast and just so good at what they do.

My crew and I spent two solid days at the Blue Marlin and I can honestly say it was the greatest experience of my summer. The atmosphere, the host staff and every other interaction was top notch. Not what I expected especially considering the number of people rolling through. Steve was very gracious and took care of us with our accommodations. Highly recommend this resort. We will certainly be back.
