She is turning 9 and when Rachel heard that, they put a candle in her French toast, started singing happy birthday, and the entire diner joined in! Courtney was our server and she is an absolute gem! She kept a positive attitude, a smile on her face, and each and every table was taken care of. I highly recommend checking this place out! “They have great Artisan Pizza White Cheddar cheese macaroni and cheese it is a plus 10 on rating. But they really need to learn how to make their salads they have on their menu. I ordered my husband a Mediterranean salad without tomatoes n they put tomatoes in it, they hardly put any romaine lettuce in it he had mostly peppers n black olives, onions. I ordered myself the house salad and had spinach added and extra feta cheese, but they failed to put any romaine lettuce so I got a container of spinach and feta cheese n two small pieces of green pepper and a few slices of red onion and a Big piece of red onion peal.“

Food is perfect and Joey, Abbey, and all of the staff make you feel like they’ve known you their whole life. “Didn't go in, just leaving a review to emphasize it's 21+ - my teen wanted a diner after playing at the sports complex and this came up first on Google maps, and then we had to find something else with a starving grouchy athlete. Not the cafe's fault but hoping to help others avoid the same mistake.“

“I ordered the Deck Salad with grilled chicken. Don't expect to eat the whole thing, it is huge. Loved it! It had blackberries as big as my thumb, strawberries and blue berries. And, of course, it had dried cranberries, pecans and feta cheese. I would order it again. I wish they would bring back the Reuben dog. It also was delicious.“

“A fantastic hidden gem. I went here on Christmas and was surprised to see just a small staff with all the woks fired up and cooking and dishing up. The food was hot and the flavor was exactly what I was hoping for. Its in a strip mall so plenty of parking and easy to access. This is definitely a new regular spot for me“

“This is a Cafe. No longer a restaurant. It's a video slot machines cafe, many different games to play. Lots of winners. We have a room for smokers and a separate room for non smokers. We offer free soft drinks and cold water. We offer free snacks as in chips, candy , chocolate ect. We sell an array of different beers for $2.00 a can. Come on in relax and enjoy.“

“Only had pizza here about 6 times since the new bridge opened. Never had a bad slice of pizza. Paul that works there is really a friendly guy along with other workers. The hours are perfect don’t know why other shops close at 8 or 9 o’clock. The later hours get my business.“

There was something that wasn’t available on the menu, and I called to verify and they confirmed though no longer on the menu I can order it and they’d make it. “This is one of my favorite restaurants because of the quality of the food without breaking the bank with friendly servers and comfortable atmosphere. The only drawback is it's so far from where we live in Pittsburgh. It's more than hour drive if there's no traffic just to eat here. I ordered the Spagna, a spaghetti and lasagna hybrid under $11 and my partner order the grilled chicken fettuccine Alfredo for $14.99. Also, they have the best peach ice tea bar none with free refills to boot. So, we can't complain. Highly recommended if your visiting West Virginia.“

“Sent my parents here for a special “date night” while they were in from out of town for a show at the Capitol. Made reservations in person and asked for it to be a special night. “When I go to the highlands , the Lube is the only place I will eat. I have tried others but the Lube is a 5. Always clean and fast service. I have got to know the manager Michelle & Christine and some of the other servers & bartenders by name. I am always treated well, talked to and have fun being there.They know my favorite things to eat are their wings and onion rings. I have ate other items and have always been pleased. I am very picky about my food and especially onion rings. I go into a new place and ask if the onion rings are real. They knew what I ment here at the Lube. Some places look at me like I am stupid asking that. I will not eat them made of minced onions and theirs are by far the best Ive have eaten. I see Michelle going around asking tables if their food is ok and if service is. Not enough managers do that and I feel it is very important.“

“My husband and I stumbled upon Bubba’s gourmet burghers in Triadelphia, WV by accident a few years back. As the manager was walking around checking on patrons, he stopped at our table and during the conversation explains the owner is a wounded Vet. If the delicious food wasn’t enough, that statement made it a “must stop” place. It is important to note we travel almost 2hours one way, repeatedly to eat there, that is how good it is.

Today was no different our server was excellent, prompt, and courteous. At the end of our meal asked if either of us, my husband or I were a veteran. When my husband said yes, that he was, the waiter said, “thank you for your service, your meal has been picked up for the day!”. We were shocked, that has never happened before, then 2 minutes later 3 Warriors of Chaos club members from a table on the other side of the dining room came over. They shook our hands thanked my husband for his service and informed us that our entire check would be paid for including tip, the president handed him a card and a Warriors of Chaos silicone wrist band. Before shaking our hands again and returning to their tables.

I am not going to lie, that was the kindest thing in the entire world and we appreciated it more than they will ever know.

And, yes! We did leave an extra tip, for the kind server as well.

Before heading home, we made a stop to Maynards, and recounting our story, was told that this veteran motorcycle group not only does this often, they also donate their time and resources to a lot in surrounding communities, as well as the children’s hospital.

“This has been my favorite Chinese Restaurant since the Chinese Restaurant in downtown Wheeling closed in the late 80's or 90's. It has to have a new chef, because I have repeatedly asked for my General Tsao's Chicken to be spicy and it's not. They did away with sweet n sour pork, so I ordered sweet n sour shrimp well that was a major mistake because someone either forgot to put my container of sweet n sour sauce in my bag or chef doesn't put it on the dish. Cause as you can see in pic no red sweet n sour sauce. That ruined my appetite. You know when you get yourself looking forward n have your mind n taste buds wanting a certain dish to then be disappointed. So, food is getting more bland. So sad. Now I see why there isn't much business there. Drinks from bar are exceptional.“
